Or what would happen if the US invaded another country as Trump has threatned to do?

I do think that Trump is aware that people care about top athletes in a way that they don't about scholars/scientists they've never heard of and wouldn't stop top soccer players from entering the country to compete in the World Cup

I think that Trump would recognize the fallout from that

But I could certainly be wrong about that
