So, they either didn’t vet this guy at all or they did and liked what they found

Not sure which option is more disturbing

In a December 2023 speech, JD Vance defended a notorious white nationalist convicted over 2016 election disinformation, canvassed the possibility of breaking up tech companies, attacked diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts and talked about a social media “censorship regime” that “came from the deep state on some level”.

The senator’s speech was given at the launch of a “counterrevolutionary” book – praised by the now Republican vice-presidential candidate as “great” – which was edited and mostly written by employees of the far-right Claremont Institute.

In the book, Up from Conservatism, the authors advocate for the repeal of the Civil Rights Act, for politicians to conduct “deep investigations into what the gay lifestyle actually does to people”, that college and childcare be defunded and that rightwing governments “promote male-dominated industries” in order to discourage female participation in the workplace.

Vance’s endorsement of the book may raise further questions about his extremism, and that of his networks. The Guardian emailed Vance’s Senate staff and the Trump and Vance campaign with detailed questions about his appearance at the launch, but received no response……

Had Biden dropped out before Trump made his pick, I'm willing to guarantee someone else would've been selected. But Trump felt so emboldened, assured the presidency was his, that he selected that idiot who would never question him.

It's sort of akin to Hillary's campaign investing time and money in attempting to run up the score in Texas in 2016..

Or, alternatively, Trump is just owned by the actual billionaires who were pushing Vance on him. And when Don. Jr. joined with them, he caved precisely because Vance was willing to lick his boots as much as he wanted. Musk and Thiel were the billionaires.

Walz is relatable and at ease around people which just amplifies how awkward and weird Vance is.

I’m JD Vance and I’m running for Vice President. How long have you worked at this donut shop? Okay, good.

He lacks the social skills and empathy to easily engage with ordinary people in extemporaneous settings. His experiences cultivated disdain rather than compassion, and led him to embracing ideas that don’t make for effortless and organic conversation starters. He’s a caricature.

Walz is more naturally a man of the people and the contrast between these two is only going to grow more apparent over the next couple of months.

Trump thoroughly vetted the cash he would get for picking Vance.

I think the cash he got for picking Vance was the most important thing to Trump.

So MAGA seems to be planning to just ignore Vance. I’ve seen several big MAGA accounts post this same idea - that Trump-Kennedy is the ticket. I have also seen yard signs for sale on Etsy that say Trump-Kennedy 2024. They just create their own reality I suppose. Pretty funny actually.

So much for the idea that everyone will forget all about RFK Jr. by Tuesday.

I love how this dude pretends he wasn't linking every single MSM post he could find when the nominee civil war was going on.
The same media that covered for him for 3 years! 😆

You have no idea what's going on in the world unless the corporate media spoon feeds it to you.

It was for Russia. One of Pitins Ogilarchs.

There's a difference between the country of Russia and one individual person in Deripaska.

The sanctions were for him individually and not the country Russia.

We dont have those inside sources like all Trump supporters. You are spoon fed everything you post. When I see some anti-democrat theory, story or post appear online, you repost it here like clock work.

My screen shot says as a broader punishment for Russia. What would you think would happen if Russian decided to create sanctions against Bezos or some other US Citizen who is a prominent business leader.
