The football board had the very useful Daily Trump Tracker thread, which was a good place to briefly discuss the latest ridiculous thing that might have ended 97% of prior Presidential administrations even if it didn't necessarily justify an entire thread devoted to it in 2017-2019 (because of the sheer volume of these things). Since I don't see anything like that here already, I'll add one myself.

I'm not so sure. It is no skin off of Trump to throw Parscale under the bus. Trump would have more cause to be vindictive against him than Democrats because Parscale nearly bankrupted the campaign fund. Trump is having to pull more and more ad buys from key states.

That position assumes that Parscale was embezzling from Trump's campaign and not for Trump's campaign. There have been rumors for a few weeks that the Trump campaign was illegally funneling money from the campaign to Trump personally.

Trump is a micromanaging miser about his money, so I find it hard to believe anyone could get away with stealing from him. It's possible, but I find it improbable. If Parscale was working with Trump, then Trump will definitely take care of him so he doesn't flip in a plea bargain.

Wow. This cannot be right... can it? And it was taken before last night's debate.
Sure it can and it's to be expected. Nothing shocking about any of it, if one has been looking at the breakdown of total votes being cast and not just the outcome of elections.

Democratic voters make up a growing majority of the population. Republican voters are a shrinking minority of the population. With each election, Democrats are going to continue gaining ground everywhere in the country except for a few states with less than 2 million people.

This is why McConnell and the Republicans have been corruptly packing the federal courts and the Supreme Court. They need the courts in their favor so they can continue to suppress voters and gerrymander districts to give their minority a majority of federal power. It's the only way they maintain any control over the country at the federal level.

It's shocking in the sense that it's South Carolina and not Texas. It's plausible that an increase in Democratic voters can turn Texas purple in the not so distant future. But for South Carolina to be in play when Trump won it by 14% in 2016? If the number is accurate then it represents a large number of Republicans voting for Biden -- I don't think it can be solely attributed to a massive increase in Democrat voter registration/participation.

    I see what you're saying.

A lot of people have moved to SC in the last four years. Charleston and Greenville have been booming. It’s hard to make much of these polls but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the state voting reflect some of that.

I moved to SC in 2015 and we regularly meet people that moved here after us. And it seems like they got more desirable through the pandemic, as smaller but growing cities draw relocations.

It’s obvious that the Pope is part of the Deep State.

The Pope just disgruntled that Trump fired him.

Well Billy Graham Jr says Trump is good and he is a better Christian than the Pope anyways.

The Pope a neocon warmonger and that’s why he hates Trump.

    Any ones I forgot?
