I have no words for this is he suing himself? How do you use the government and knowing trump with the goverment is the goverment going to defend itself against the government? You know he will just be handed the money.. but it was fine sharing other people's tax returns, perfectly acceptable.

his private lawyer is a government lawyer.

In a footnote at the bottom of Monday's filing, Trump's lawyers argued that the motion to dismiss is "self-executing" and does not require a judge to sign off on the settlement or the motion to dismiss — effectively bypassing U.S. District Judge Kathleen M. Williams, who was assigned the case in the Southern District of Florida.

"No judicial analysis is appropriate," after the dismissal, Mr. Trump's legal team said.

Last month, Williams ordered a hearing on whether the Constitution allowed Mr. Trump to sue his own government.

Yep, they maneuvered to avoid Judge Williams, because it was obvious she was about to dismiss the case. If Blanche had waited a few more days, taxpayers wouldn't be on the hook to payoff the Trump crime family and his cronies, and congress wouldn't have to spend their time wastefully trying to block this corruption, rather than doing something more productive for Americans.

It's as if there's a fire sale and folks are doing whatever they can to get a piece of the pie........democracy or the constitution be damned. I just wonder if we will ever get back to "normal".

What is the limit? Why couldn't he set up a $17B or a $170B fund, or a $1.7T fund? Where do congressional MAGATs draw the line? What violent crimes do they support being allowed to occur without prosecution?
There is no line. They’re all a bunch of criminals. Our government is essentially the mob now.

Can an acting be impeached? He’s never been confirmed.
“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

So, yes. Civil Officers.
