I have no words for this is he suing himself? How do you use the government and knowing trump with the goverment is the goverment going to defend itself against the government? You know he will just be handed the money.. but it was fine sharing other people's tax returns, perfectly acceptable.

his private lawyer is a government lawyer.

That obviously means I wouldn’t let doge even start the way they did.
Without actually blaming Trump or Musk, and still not answering the question. Would you be in favor of actually stopping DOGE? Holding Trump and Musk accountable for what they did?

Maybe not problem to you but it is to the IRS. They let it happen. And it’s not supposed to happen.

What do you mean they let it happen?

I have read more about it and here is how the DOJ press release on his sentencing described what he did:

What is your basis for asserting that IRS "let it happen"?

And, again, what are the actual damages?

The burden of proof of "actual damages" is on the plaintiff - Trump would have to have some method of quantifying the damage he sustained as a result of the disclosure. Given that since the disclosure, his net worth has grown dramatically and he was re-elected to be president, there's very little chance that he has actual damages.

That it happened under IRS supervision. There are supposed to be security measures in place to prohibit this sort of thing. The IRS failed.

Didn’t see a need to state the obvious.

Again, I’ll leave the whining wailing and gnashing of teeth to others. Not my thing.

I think it’s meritless. Wouldn’t be surprised if the actual target ends up being Booze Allen. Keep in mind the lawyers representing trump are premiere ambulance chasers. I’m sure there is a long game.

Don’t you imagine the “game” is the looting of the Treasury? He will pressure Bondi to reach a quick settlement and enrich himself, just like he’s been doing all along.

    This is corruption and impeachable.

You can’t even really say anything critical. Not in plain language. Lololol

Oh and characterizing any criticism as “whining wailing and gnashing of teeth” is a total propaganda ploy. Objectively.

You think an IRS rep was standing over Littlejohn or any other Booz Allen Hamilton employee? Cmon man.

IRS didnt fail, Booz Allen Hamilton failed ( and not sure you will find it was systemic, rather a very isolated incident )

And apparently Booz holds dozens of contracts with US Govt totalling over $2B

And Trump so mad, Treasury canceled 31 of the contracts for a total of $4.8 million.

They canceled less than .003% of contracts by revenue.

They have not named BAH nor Mr. Littlejohn personally. This appears to be purely an attempt to claim money from the United States government.

That's not the same thing. If you take that view, it happened under Trump's supervision. The IRS is an executive agency under Trump's direct control.

But more importantly, the remedy statute requires wrongful inspection or disclosure in accordance with the taxpayer confidentiality statute. Culpability isn't based on attenuated system failures.

    Lets cut the bullshirt here!

Who was the ultimate supervisor here? Who was the "Boss" of the IRS when this happened?

    TRUMP!

All this happened under his watch.
