You might be surprised to see that support among African Americans for Bloomberg is rising rapidly. IIRC from a poll I saw today it is a double digit increase, but I could be wrong about that.
The analysis of the poll I saw said that the AA voters will sit back and go for whoever they see as most likely to beat Trump. That will “trump“ any other consideration.
Bloomberg still has some work to do to win over minority voters, but he's not a biggot nor jailing kids, so he'll look way better than Trump. Not that I agreed with the need to apologize for Stop and Frisk, but Bloomberg has apologized. At the time that it was implemented, even the black community supported it. Bloomberg is capable of learning from his mistakes, so Bloomberg will destroy Trump among moderates, and even if the minority vote is slightly depressed, he'll still beat Trump. Blacks especially hate Trump, so they'll support anyone not named Trump.I don't see Bloomberg doing too well with minority voters given his audio bemoaning white people being stopped and frisked too often minorities and not often enough.
He has even less charm than Kamala Harris.
Pretty good chance that those polled didn't hear the audi before responding, don't you think?

I think, and it’s just a guess, that most AA voters are excruciatingly aware of what Bloomberg supported and what he did. They also know that he has the capability to recognize a bad decision and learn from it, which is a talent Trump just doesn’t have the ability to do. They are very practical, and know how vital it is to get Trump out of office if we want to save our republic from becoming of the banana sort.
My guess is they will be pivotal in Trump’s defeat in the fall.
Idk where Bernie polls with AA, but my impression is that it isn’t very high. I think, not sure, that Bloomberg just jumped over him.
Yep, just checked. The most recent poll shows Bloomberg at 22%, with Bernie at 19%. Biden now at high 20’s.
Who knows if it will stay that way, but for now, Bloomberg is moving up.

Have you heard the Bloomberg audio discussing stop and frisk?
I think you are discounting the fact that black employment is currently at record numbers under Trump. All he has to say is that his opponent wants to change course that led to those numbers.
Trump is starting to turn the tide when it comes to support in the black community.
Not to mention that powerful commercial during the Super Bowl featuring Alice Marie Johnson.
The unemployment rate is the best thing going for Trump, but he is mortgaging our future to do it, and enriching the wealthiest far more than the lower classes. So despite the unemployment rate, many lower classes are having to work multiple jobs. Besides, even Trump's best asset is just continuing Obama's trend, but Obama's budgets weren't mortgaging our future.I think you are discounting the fact that black employment is currently at record numbers under Trump. I have asked many times over the years and have yet to get a single answer, so maybe you can help out. What specific policy change that trump implemented to spur this black employment boom? As I see it, black employment was trending upwards, just as all other employment stats, prior to his election.I think you are discounting the fact that black employment is currently at record numbers under Trump. I really like Buttigieg, but Buttigieg is doing worst nationally, so I think his time will come in a few years after more homophobic people die.
I suppose you could be right, but I’m not convinced. Have you seen polling to indicate some sort of shift?

Fine, just say "no I can't",no need to get all sideways about it!A rising tide raises all ships. Pretty simple, policies put in place has led to overall growth and led to lower unemployment.
Also I am not going on some wild goose chase for some silly link to make you happy.
I agree that Bloomberg doesn’t have a lot of charisma, but Americans like to vote for opposites of what they don’t like in office. After the ridiculously corrupt reality show that we’ve endured, I think Americans may be ready for someone more boring, serious, intelligent, honestly successful, and with good character. Also, Bloomberg managed to charm New Yorkers into 3 terms, so he’s proven to be an extraordinary businessman that also has governed well.I thought the same thing 12 yrs ago about racists, er, Real Patriotic Americans [tm].. Until Obama actually won- twice... i think Pete’s time could be now.. maybe.
As to your idea of a Bloomberg/Klobuchar ticket- i actually think that could work.. i just dont yet know about Bloomberg; I mean, of course i’d Vote for him over Trump, but i’d Vote for your pet cat over Trump, so that isnt saying much.. i used to think Bloomberg was Trump without the baggage.. a REAL billionaire, and a REAL successful businessman.. but I’m afraid that not only doesnt he have the baggage, he also might not have the charisma.. Say what you want about Trump and his crime syndicate- the guy does have charisma.. then again, so did Adolf Hitler.
We’ll have to see if Bloomberg can make any impact on Super Tuesday and beyond, b/c to me is a total wild card.
Nope, old news and doesn’t matter. I read about it. As someone already said, there were some AA leaders supporting it at the time. It was a flawed concept, Bloomberg has acknowledged it was a mistake.
