No you didn’t make a general observation. You made an allegation specifically about me and another poster. So you are once again not being honest about what you said. Here it is. Bolding is mine. This is why you aren’t given any credibility at all with me. You flat out said that I and another poster said that Sam was lying. You even said it was “obvious” that we did that.

What makes discussions difficult is a 2 way street Joe. I may have sharp comments for people, and I don’t shy away from letting anyone know what I think. But I am not twisting people’s words or lying about what I said or what other people have said. You might want to do some self-reflection, also.
I stand corrected. And I do stand by my statement that you do about as much word twisting as anyone on the board. That is what I think. So I find it ironic that you complain about being treated in the same manner as you treat others.

My reply was directed toward one person who said he "fired his gun" ( as fact )

Fact is, we dont know. ( and signs now point to he didnt- its not in the charging documents from DOJ nor any ballistics report finding the buckshot pellets )

all that other stuff you posted is for a different discussion.
I am just curious to know what real difference it makes if he did or if he didn’t. He’s going to be charged with attempting to kill POTUS and other senior Gov officers. Is there any doubt in your mind he was there to do just that? It’s gonna be kinda hard to his defense council to argue otherwise.

idk why you are asking me. Ask the guy who keeps posting about it.

So who’s the guy on his belly with the officers on top of him?

    An actor.

Speaking of staging assassination attempts, I was reminded yesterday of another despot who had 4 of them, every time escaping unharmed, and that one time he wore a huge patch across his face, each staging giving him the aura of a hero, and used to draw public support. The despot? Benito Mussolini.

I don’t think I do and if you can provide examples I will be happy to take a look at them.

I don’t subscribe to WaPo any longer so has anyone else read their forensic analysis?

Also, it matters when the DOJ lies about facts in a case like this.

Prove it. Because we can prove a long history of your refusal to engage honestly and to deal in logical fallacies to avoid answering questions. Hell, I've had to ask you the same question a dozen times just to get a straight answer out of you. You are a dishonest interlocutor and everyone here knows it. You do not engage in reality.

Did you see the video of the agent/officer with the dog? I guy walks into the stairwell and the dog follows him, the agent pulls the dog away TWICE, and then 2 seconds later the guy comes running out with the gun. What the hell was that about? How does the agent/officer not follow the guy into the stairwell with the dog and ask questions?

None of this makes any sense. I feels like a terribly planned and comical false flag operation. Like they're barely even trying to stage it. The secret service cannot be that incompetent. If so, everybody needs to be fired and they need to start over.

I highly doubt this was some kind of plan. You will have to prove that to me. I can believe that there were gaps in protection. Those definately need to get looked at.

I don’t think it was a plan, at least not involving the gunman. What I think is highly possible, and maybe even likely, is that they decided not to stop him until he got into the venue. They had no intention of letting him into the ballroom, but they (Trump) didn’t mind the attempt and the chaos. He didn’t care if innocent people died either.

This guy’s brother reported his plans 48 hours in advance. They knew he was coming. If they were operating properly they would have just picked him up during those 48 hours. Why didn’t they?

I’m wondering what the point is about.
The point is that there is substantial evidence that indicates the Republican administration is lying to us, yet again, when they say the alleged assassin shot an agent.

That point has nothing to do with whether or not the alleged assassin is guilty of crimes. The Republican administration lying to us and the guilt of the alleged assassin are separate points.

    Some thing isn’t right 🤔

You mean that the guy with the dog was looking directly through the doorway where the guy was, then looked away two seconds before he came charging through with a gun? And that he turned to see the guy and didn't immediately shout "GUN!", because if he had, someone would have reacted much sooner than waiting until the guy ran past? And that everyone happened to be turned away from the door at the exact right moment?
