Getting off a ship when the Q flag is flying is one of those things you are NOT allowed to do regardless of what NCL says.

A cruise ship allows you to board without being vaccinated rather than return your money. When the ship returns to an American port you cannot disembark until you get jabbed.

(Reuters) - A cruise ship set to dock in New Orleans with over 3,000 passengers has detected 10 cases of COVID-19 among its crew and guests, the Louisiana Department of Health said late on Saturday.

The cruise ship Norwegian Breakaway, owned by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd, departed New Orleans on a weeklong cruise on Nov. 28 and had stops in Belize, Honduras and Mexico, the health agency said.

"NCL has been adhering to appropriate quarantine and isolation protocols," the department said in a tweet.

The ship is set to reach New Orleans on Sunday morning, according to its itinerary.

Nobody is leaving until they get jabbed.

Everyone on board will be tested for COVID-19 before leaving and will be provided with post-exposure and quarantine public health guidance by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

People who test positive for COVID-19 will either travel to their homes or self-isolate according to CDC guidelines, the health agency said.

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings did not immediately respond to a request for comment outside regular business hours.

Big drug companies already killed or crippled thousands who were vaccinated.

You can bet that every Cruise Line company will follow NCL’s lead. A few more dying from the vaccines coming in on cruise ships is nothing.

Incidentally, I remember government officials in many foreign countries coming aboard a cargo vessel with their hands out. Pratique was granted after a few palms were greased. Our officials get their cumshaw from the drug companies —— the more they jab the more they get.

I'm a little confused by this. I didn't spend my whole life in the Merchant Marine but I did sail some when I was young. I don't ever remember a vessel I was on having a set of signal flags much less ever using signal flags. Nor did I ever see blinking light signals being used.

We have those two way radios now and they're really are quite reliable. Ships carry several of them encase one of them quits working.

Everyone I know has been vaccinated, most of them have had three shot, and we're glad we got them. I just don't know about this thousands killed or crippled. Is that something that's been made up, or is it a statistic which has not been normalized with the number of people who have been vaccinated for which I would think would number in the several billions world wide by now.

Normalization of a statistic in this case would mean "thousands" would be divided by "billions" It would make a normalized statistic so small why one would not even be able to see it with the naked eye. It would mean whole cruise ship fleets could be jabbed all at once, and statistically not a single person amoung them would be likely to die.

These kinds of statistics must always be normalized before use or they become a case of misrepresenting a situation with raw numbers.

I've only been here three or four days and in that time I can say there hasn't been anyone posting here I've noticed except for Flanders who will believe these three theories of his.

The two you mentioned and that 60 year old conspiracy about banning DDT.

So I propose an off beat "theory" of my own that nothing really bad will come of it.



Flanders says he's 87, and that means he might have some darn good stories to tell.
