The Biden Campaign (according to the NY Times) is quietly testing the level of political strength VP Kamala Harris might
have if SHE were to be the nominee at the top of the ticket in November.

What are YOUR thoughts on the possibility of President Biden bowing out and VP Kamala Harris going up
    against Donald Trump?

So I can't argue. I am clueless about this legal argument of yours. Anyone else can confirm or debate on Dragon's point?
Yes, I read up on it in 2012, it changes some for every election, but not very much. It's in party literature, both fed, and individual states.

If Biden stays almost all of the bound delegates are bound to him for the first ballot.

If he drops out they will no longer be bound to him, but he can ask them to support Harris in his stead.

Let's say 2/3 of them did as he asked, Harris would become the nominee even if there was some push back coming from the party bigwigs, and the US legislature, they have some unbound votes as well.

The big change since 2012 is that there are lots fewer of the unbound delegates. What I said about the 2/3 of them being needed for Harris, probably wouldn't have been enough back in 2012, if the party and legislature were pushing for someone else hard.

That was quite a fight that Bernie fought to change that in 2016. His efforts got rid of a bunch of the big wig unbound votes.

That's what I thought you were clearly saying and that the whole "Biden or Bust" claim was a misrepresentation of what you actually said. The Biden has to go crowd has been doing a lot of misrepresenting lately.
What's funny is he talks about Blue MAGA, talking about us.

    Talk about a projection.
