Is this a good idea? Personally I am against it. I believe both sides lose. You shouldn’t be allowed to change the rules so you can get your way.

I am curious about that as well. What decision has he made that makes him a leftist. I’m pretty sure he has been a contributor to the Federalist Society, and is a broad supporter of free speech rights.

If merely being nominated by a democrat is the criteria, that’s pretty lazy thinking.
