Anxiety surges as Donald Trump may be indicted soon: Why 2024 is 'the final battle' and 'the big one'

WASHINGTON – It looks like American politics is entering a new age of anxiety, triggered by an unprecedented legal development: The potential indictment of a former president and current presidential candidate.

Donald Trump's many legal problems – and calls for protests by his followers – have generated new fears of political violence and anxiety about the unknowable impact all this will have on the already-tense 2024 presidential election

I’ll reframe this is a more accurate way, Are Presidents above the law? This new age was spurred into existence when home grown dummies elected a corrupt, mentally ill, anti-democratic, would be dictator as President and don’t bother to hold him responsible for his crimes, don’t want to because in the ensuing mayhem and destruction, they think they will be better off. The man is actually advocating violence (not the first time). And btw, screw democracy too. If this feeling spreads, we are In deep shirt.

This goes beyond one treasonous Peice of work and out to all his minions. This is on you or should we be sympathetic to the idea of they can’t help being selfish suckers to the Nation’s detriment? Donald Trump is the single largest individual threat to our democracy and it‘s all going to boil down to will the majority of the GOP return to his embrace and start slinging his excrement to support him?

I Wonder what happens to that money....... Cant pay for the ACA. Sure would be real nice not to have decide to pay rent or buy groceries. I'm sorry to bring it up the President clearly values money more then me. He did pull himself up by the bootstraps. Never had help.

I would like to take this time to remind people they made Jimmy Carter sell his peanut farm. For those to young to understand. Conflict of Intrest used to matter. Jimmy was that dude. The stuff he did after his presidency makes him great.

This is what this reminds me of:

Whenever a white celebrity is caught on tape saying something really racist they go on their apology blitz

But no matter how much or how sincere it may be it isn’t fully complete unless it involves black absolution

The offender must be seen with a black celebrity (ideally at least as famous) laughing, joking, hugging it out, etc

“See? Look who has forgiven me, why can’t you?”

Trump has angered and offended Christians and Catholics and even got on the bad side of the Pope, THE POPE!!!!

But you know who still loves Trump?

    Jesus

Just look at the picture, and look in your heart and be like Jesus

sure we should belive this bullcrap.

Overall trust in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has reached an all-time high. In the first quarter of fiscal year 2026, 82% of Veterans who used VA services—including health care, benefits, burials and memorials—reported that they trust VA to fulfill the nation’s commitment to them.

Additionally, trust in VA outpatient health care is also rising, with 93.6% of Veterans reporting they trust VA for their health care needs.

“Veterans First isn’t a slogan, it’s a promise—and it starts with listening,” said VA Secretary Doug Collins. This sentiment reflects VA’s ongoing efforts to engage directly with Veterans about their experiences by gathering their feedback to improve services.

What Veterans are saying about their experience

The quarterly VA Trust survey measures the overall ease, effectiveness and emotional resonance experienced by Veterans. This quarter hit record highs:

    • 77.3% of Veterans said it was easy to get the care or services they needed.
    • 81.4% said they got the care or services they needed.
    • 79.5% said they felt like a valued customer when interacting with VA.

Over twice as tall as the Lincoln Memorial. I guess big enough to match his bloated ego. I'm sure glad he gutted social safety nets for this project
The plan indicates the structure would stand between the Lincoln Memorial in the east and Arlington National Cemetery toward the west and within a traffic circle connecting Washington with northern Virginia. The arch would dwarf the Lincoln Memorial, which stands at 99 feet tall (30.2 meters).

Trump wrote on social media that it “will be the GREATEST and MOST BEAUTIFUL Triumphal Arch, anywhere in the World. This will be a wonderful addition to the Washington D.C. area for all Americans to enjoy for many decades to come!”
    What a shocking revelation!

Commission of Fine Arts votes to move ahead with Trump's proposed victory arch

The approval vote was expected, as Trump had filled the committee with seven of his own appointees after firing all its previous members last October. This group is responsible for advising the president, Congress, and the federal and local governments on the design and aesthetics of construction within Washington, D.C.

What a forking embarrassment if that monstrosity gets built

VA lost more than 40,000 employees in fiscal 2025, with 88% of those employees coming from the Veterans Health Administration. The net loss of employees, however, is closer to Secretary Doug Collins' goal of shedding 30,000 employees for the year. VA lost 3,000 registered nurses and 1,000 physicians. The department has shed 1,100 custodians, 700 social workers and nearly 2,000 claims processors.
