Anxiety surges as Donald Trump may be indicted soon: Why 2024 is 'the final battle' and 'the big one'

WASHINGTON – It looks like American politics is entering a new age of anxiety, triggered by an unprecedented legal development: The potential indictment of a former president and current presidential candidate.

Donald Trump's many legal problems – and calls for protests by his followers – have generated new fears of political violence and anxiety about the unknowable impact all this will have on the already-tense 2024 presidential election

I’ll reframe this is a more accurate way, Are Presidents above the law? This new age was spurred into existence when home grown dummies elected a corrupt, mentally ill, anti-democratic, would be dictator as President and don’t bother to hold him responsible for his crimes, don’t want to because in the ensuing mayhem and destruction, they think they will be better off. The man is actually advocating violence (not the first time). And btw, screw democracy too. If this feeling spreads, we are In deep shirt.

This goes beyond one treasonous Peice of work and out to all his minions. This is on you or should we be sympathetic to the idea of they can’t help being selfish suckers to the Nation’s detriment? Donald Trump is the single largest individual threat to our democracy and it‘s all going to boil down to will the majority of the GOP return to his embrace and start slinging his excrement to support him?

And back to the topic of gender again...

If this story is true—and you certainly seem to have many of them when it comes to LGBTQ+ issues—then I have to say, while I don’t know your daughter or how she expresses herself, if she used language similar to some of the things you’ve written here about LGBTQ+ individuals, I can understand why her classmates wouldn’t support such opinions.

Statements suggesting that LGBTQ+ individuals are 'sick,' 'abused,' or 'evil' for expressing themselves or wearing clothing aligned with their gender identity are not conducive to a constructive discussion. Similarly, if she echoed some of the prejudiced views on race that you’ve shared here, that could also explain the negative reception.

In a class focused on gender equity and inclusion, openly displaying such prejudices would easily justify receiving a lower grade, as these attitudes undermine the principles of respect and open dialogue that such a course is designed to foster.
Shame on you. It wasn't her classmates. You don't know anything about my daughter. She is white. It was the first day of class. She is mild mannered and not outspoken like her daddy. She hides going to church because she doesn't want to be ostracized by bigoted opinions like above.

You know, i came in good faith to talk politics. Some of you are just shameful people. I now understand why this place is a desert.

It 100% happens every day and did at PACE UNIVERSITY who love my money, they just don't love my views.

    Peace

As I said, I don’t know your daughter or her views—but I do know yours. And you still haven’t clarified what specific views she was told 'did not count.'

So, stop playing the victim and be forthright about your opinions.

I explicitly stated that if the views she expressed align with yours, then the pushback she received makes sense—especially in a class designed to promote understanding and acceptance of others.

If someone espouses bigotry in a class meant to foster inclusivity and respect, then facing criticism or negative consequences is an entirely predictable outcome."

Interesting. My son considered Pace but decided on LIU instead. He's at the Brooklyn Campus. What Pace Campus is your daughter at?

Pace is over 40% white. I know from when my son and I were looking at colleges in NYC for him. If they are handing out B's for being white that's a lot of B's.

Well, you guys seem to only see one side of every single subject. By you saying he can't say that is LITERALLY wanting to limit his speech.
We are not the federal government.

He is telling his supporters to not support Comcast.
We are not talking about Joe Schmoe; we are talking about a U.S. president-elect speaking against protected speech of a U.S. corporation, threatening a U.S. corporation.

The first day of class the entire class was told that the white students should understand their opinions did not matter as much as the minority students. I didn't say it was the whole school, but it happened in this class. My child along with the other white student (heterosexual male), basically took the class and didn't participate. This may have been lesson the white teacher was attempting to teach, but it is shameful.

If the left doesn't realize that the majority of this country is white and heterosexual and you continuously spit on us, eventually we get enough and react. As shown by this election. I really hope your party realizes that pandering to everyone and everything leads to disaster. Treat people EQUALLY. Don't make a group here and there special.

Maybe some of you should get out of this echo chamber and realize their is a reason your party lost HUGELY. It is because people keep saying why someone like trump won, yet you all think you know more than the people who pulled the lever.

I find your story highly doubtful. If what you’re saying were true, it would have made headlines everywhere. Your claims simply aren’t credible, especially considering your track record of posting stories filled with exaggerated narratives of white victimization.

It seems more like an attempt to push a specific agenda rather than presenting a genuine or factual account.

You stated that far more nicely than I would have. Thank you.

What you’re seeking isn’t equal treatment but the continuation of the preferential treatment that white heterosexual males have enjoyed for centuries. Those days are over. Today, people of all genders, skin colors, and religions demand to be treated as equals.

You’re clinging to a past that no longer exists, and it’s time to recognize and adapt to the reality of a more equitable society.

Get ready for more crowd size nonsense
    ==========================

Officials at the National Park Service are concerned they may become caught up in President-elect Donald Trump’s claims about crowd sizes in connection to his January 20 inauguration.

The last time around, in 2017, acting National Park Service Director Mike Reynolds got a call from Trump the day after the inauguration.

Trump made clear that he was displeased with the photos published by the press indicating that the crowd attending his inauguration was smaller than that of former President Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration, two people aware of the call told Reuters.

Reynolds and the Park Service were ordered to hand out new photos to change the view that Trump’s crowd was smaller than Obama’s. The Park Service subsequently sent new images to the White House.

The issue of crowd size is expected to come up again as Trump’s second inauguration gets underway on Monday. There are concerns within the Park Service that the agency might be caught in the middle of a controversy over the number of attendees, according to an individual familiar with the thinking inside the agency, Reuters reported.…….

You can believe what you want. Ma'am, I have been very polite to you. But in all honesty, you have not been so nice to me. I have been 100% honest and forthcoming in all of my conversations. Instead of asking for background or my experiences, you resort to this type of rhetoric which is not fruitful.

Y'all keep believing that your party is not full of extremist and you will continue to lose elections.
