    Welp...

Here is some bonus stuff from scotus...

Kamala's biggest problem was time and the fact she refused to separate herself from Biden.
She did and curb stomped Trump in the debate. Once again she couldn't separate her
gender. Sad, but true brother, Bill Mahr gives good points here.

I'll be anxious to see if teachers are really going to get "nothing" this year or if that was just a carrot he was dangling to get us to vote for Amendment 2. I can't imagine we'll get a bigger permanent raise like what should happen, but they might keep stringing us along with the "temporary" stipend we've got the last two years.

The "pay raise" was nothing more than making the stipend permanent, but the districts would have to fund them from how I read it.

The thing is that I'm not sure anyone really knows how the funding would have worked. I think I read somewhere that the amendment was 100 pages long or some ridiculous bit. TRSL (teacher retirement system) was apparently for it, trying to explain how they were going to take money from the retirement balances and pay off some debt to free up blah, blah, blah. It was all a convoluted mess was tied to other convoluted messes that they were trying to sneak in there.

I'm pretty sure trying to do the same thing decades ago (cramming proposed amendments all at once) was one of the factors that cost Buddy Roemer his job.

It still blows my mind that he created the Surgeon General position just to appoint an opioid dealer who ruined countless lives. The legislative line between his horrors and the state is perilously thin. Relying on our state representatives to protect us from him is terrifying

I'm confused. Please clarify. The Surgeon General position is older than I am.

quick research says the position was created in 1871

Didn't he also announce that he was going to run against Cassidy for voting to convict trump?
