    Netanyahu has 9 lives. He was PM in the 90s, got defeated. Came back in the 2000s and became PM again. Avoided being ousted various times throughout the years. In total he has been PM for like 5 times
     
    Bibi is only half the problem for a deal with the Palestinians. I don't think he was an honest partner for peace for the Palestinians, but I don't think the Palestinians have an honest partner for the Israelis to deal with.

    This is likely true. I'm not sure much changes if Bibi is gone.

    Yeah. Madeleine Albright had a saying "The Palestinians never miss a chance to miss a chance." In the '90's, the Israelis offered them the best deal they'll ever get, but Arafat walked away from that deal. And since that time, the PLO got weaker and Hamas has gotten stronger, and they are not a willing partner to peace with Israel.

    It's a mess.
