That first article is alarming. That’s what will happen nationwide if we don’t stand up and vote. I couldn’t help thinking that it sounds like a place that @Farb would like to live. They‘re checking off all his boxes. That may not be fair to @Farb, but this is the logical extension of some of his views. They want to do away with public schools, establish laws based on religious beliefs, and basically control everything in the state.

I saw some of the videos - the police who arrested them took off their face coverings to book them out in the open in front of the crowd. One vid I saw of a cop pulling off the “hood” looked like one of those unmasking moments in a Scooby Doo cartoon, lol.

So there are some pictures of their faces now floating around the internet and I’m sure people will start to identify them. Plus their names will be released too, now that I think about it.

Yes, it does seem low. As the sheriff pointed out-they didn’t want to wait until they did something worse to arrest them if they could prevent the riot from starting. But yeah, I think the charges so far are inadequate. Maybe upon review - there will be additional charges?

And re: the penalties handed out. Yes they were about to do way worse stuff but at the time of their arrest that is all they are guilty of - conspiracy.

But don’t worry. Their booking photos and names will be available in the smoking gun soon enough. Their jobs will be next.
