Someone on BlueSky made the point that Abbott bears quite a bit of blame for this mess as well as Trump. He has enough political capital to have told Trump that his redistricting of TX was likely to backfire on him and tell him they aren’t going to do it.

But he has no courage and no integrity so he didn’t.

Yep. I'll at least give those Republicans in Indiana credit for standing up and saying no. Several of them were doxxed for not succumbing to fair leader.
