    Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the richest woman in Russia and the widow of Yury Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow, Senate Republicans revealed in their report on the younger Biden’s work in Ukraine.

    Baturina is referenced in the 87-page report, which was released Wednesday, addressing her payment to Biden’s investment firm in early 2014.

    “Baturina became Russia’s only female billionaire when her plastics company, Inteko, received a series of Moscow municipal contracts while her husband was mayor,” it said in providing background on the businesswoman.

    The report described her involvement with Biden as “a financial relationship,” but declined to delve deeper into why the wire transfer was made.

    The probe also found that Baturina sent 11 wires transfers between May and December 2015 to a bank account belonging to BAK USA, a tech startup that filed for bankruptcy in March 2019.

    Nine of those 11 wire transfers were first sent to Rosemont Seneca Partners, the investment firm founded by Biden and Chris Heinz, stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, before being transferred to BAK USA.

    We all know their is massive corruption on both sides of the aisle. Here is an alleged allegation against Hunter Biden who was allegedly enriching himself because his Dad was Vice President.
     
    So, interestingly, I found a story in the NYT from October, 2020, before the election, that contains an affirmation that the laptop files that had been leaked did not contain Russian disinformation. The Russian disinformation was all coming from the Trump camp - Rudy most specifically. And specifically the disinformation was the spin that Joe Biden did anything illegal or unethical during his time in office concerning his son and Ukraine.

    Yet, somehow SFL comes on here and claims that MSM never reported the news about the laptop, or that they claimed that the laptop contained Russian disinformation. Someone is pushing a false narrative. Supposedly the FBI has the laptop, under the Trump administration, and didn‘t do anything with it. Maybe Hunter gets in some tax trouble, and that’s fine. If he broke tax law he should pay for it. Full stop.

    But to pretend that the selective leak of files that Rudy freaking Giuliani coordinated before the election has any validity is just ludicrous. Rudy has no credibility left. And he has been pushing Russian disinformation for years now. That’s just a fact at this point.

    The real sad part is that he thought he was objectively just "pushing back" against the LIBERAL MSM who is forever sloppy and hopelessly biased against anything conservative when in reality, he was peddling Russian propaganda that has helped further rot our system and push the R Party further towards authoritarianism.

    The NYT confirmed the laptop's existence. Please cite your sources or articles that supposedly show that there isn't a laptop and there was only some files as you claimed above.

    So because the FBI has had the laptop you are trying to act like it doesn't exist? That doesn't mean anything. The NYT confirmed its existence. Are you really claiming that most of the media, Democrats, and those 50 intelligence officials didn't claim it was Russian disinformation?

    Did you watch the video montage I posted about all the Russian disinformation or did you just emoji laugh at it?

    The censorship of the story is a big deal. Also, if the "big "guy" in the Chinese deal is Joe. That's outright corruption, and impeachable. There is a witness that asserts these claims. It's not just Rudy, or Russian disinformation. Also, one of the Chinese players in that deal went to jail for bribery.

    The Ukraine stuff was real, but really just an example of soft corruption. Was Hunter sitting on a gas company's board any worse then Saudi Arabi buying up all of Jared's property, or the Clinton's getting paid millions by investment firms? It's corruption, but it's the kind of soft corruption everyone expects at this point.

    You’re beating this thoroughly dead horse, and you didn’t even know that nobody has seen the laptop since the FBI picked it up before the election in 2020. I’m not watching your video montage - I know that it’s misinformation. Rudy never had the laptop, Bannon’s flunkie never had the laptop. The zip drive they are claiming is a copy had many files and folders added to it on dates after the FBI had picked up the laptop.

    So, we have an idea that the FBI picked up a laptop from a computer repair shop. Nobody has had access to it since. Yet, a bunch of lying grifters claim they have a copy of its hard drive, which has been clearly tampered with repeatedly by multiple people. Oh, and the most salacious pictures and the mentions of stuff that they say incriminates Joe Biden were all added later.

    Your credibility is just about zero on this topic. 🤦‍♀️

    The word “if” is doing some heavy lifting. Is the witness reliable? Was Joe Biden in government at all during the time frame that he was supposedly involved in a Chinese deal? If so, why did the FBI do nothing with the laptop - I have a theory. The emails involving mention of the Chinese deal and the “big guy” may not be on the original laptop. They may have appeared on this mess of a Zip drive that has been doctored repeatedly.

    Saying this was censored implies a conspiracy between media outlets. I cannot believe that one media outlet wouldn’t have broke this story if it was legit. WSJ? Fox? Reuters? BBC? AP? They are competitors and it’s really far-fetched that one wouldn’t have run with the story if it meant anything. There’s no censorship. The story stank to high heaven - that’s why no one reputable would touch it.

    It seems like the soft corruption is very common within both parties, but generally the corporate media knows not to cover it.

    Well the NYT, Washington Post and CNN all have touched it now that Biden is elected. I'm guessing that they are trying to get ahead of the story and save face because it might be bad for Hunter.

    Considering the investigation into Hunter is ongoing, why would you expect the FBI or government to give any details about the laptop or the details of the case against Hunter?

    They touched it before the election too - they just didn’t do the salacious stuff that the far right was pushing. Because it wasn’t verified and still isn’t.

    I posted a story from NYT from October 2020, I think it was in this thread. If not this one, it’s in the Media thread. It’s just not true that it wasn’t covered.
