Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the richest woman in Russia and the widow of Yury Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow, Senate Republicans revealed in their report on the younger Biden’s work in Ukraine.

Baturina is referenced in the 87-page report, which was released Wednesday, addressing her payment to Biden’s investment firm in early 2014.

“Baturina became Russia’s only female billionaire when her plastics company, Inteko, received a series of Moscow municipal contracts while her husband was mayor,” it said in providing background on the businesswoman.

The report described her involvement with Biden as “a financial relationship,” but declined to delve deeper into why the wire transfer was made.

The probe also found that Baturina sent 11 wires transfers between May and December 2015 to a bank account belonging to BAK USA, a tech startup that filed for bankruptcy in March 2019.

Nine of those 11 wire transfers were first sent to Rosemont Seneca Partners, the investment firm founded by Biden and Chris Heinz, stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, before being transferred to BAK USA.

We all know their is massive corruption on both sides of the aisle. Here is an alleged allegation against Hunter Biden who was allegedly enriching himself because his Dad was Vice President.

Thank you for this!!! He has repeatedly stated that he is talking about corruption but it's not illegal. I'm pretty sure by definition "corruption" is a criminal act and that is more true for elected officials because there are laws and regulations they are legally bound to uphold. It seems to me that he doesn't understand the difference between corruption and unethical.

I don’t think they’re fully co-extensive. There’s a lot of overlap, but corrupt, illegal, and unethical are really separate ideas. But often given conduct can be all three.

I wouldn't put it past Barr to have a press conference this week announcing an "investigation" without anything substantial to point to because they know suspicion = guilt for those who want to believe, but you're exactly right @LA - L.A.

He better hurry up. Votes keep on coming fast and furious. In NC, according to the NC board of electors, 52% of registered voters have already cast ballots.

Tucker is a performer, he’s not a serious person and should not be taken seriously. But, still 🤣

Makes me wonder if Tucker promised to reveal these documents or whatever on air based on Hunter's alleged homey saying he could produce them.. and then homeboy didn't produce.

So Biden (private citizen) is now the KGB? How did anyone know the documents were being sent? And why the hell did they have photographs of what they sent - but no copies/backup?
Scanning technology suddenly doesn't exist? couldn't just scan a bunch of documents and send a PDF via drop box like even any government agency would do...

They're really trying all of the Clinton's greatest hits, but without any success.

The first thing Daniel Ellsberg did when he got the Pentagon Papers was make multiple copies. He stored them at a few confidents’ houses - some of whom were terrified.

Last time you had the (at that time) highly respected James Comey, who was the head of the FBI for a President who's a Democrat, reopen a very well publicized investigation into an unlikable Democratic nominee ten days before the election vs an insurgent political outsider.

This year we have Steve freakin' Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, and Tucker Carlson trying to recreate the scenario selling a story half the country doesn't know with a well-liked Democratic nominee in an election versus their highly unlikeable incumbent President.

It's easy to see why it's been a failed effort.

Yeah, that was back in the day when the government would actually kill you. ;)

Not all bad for Ellsberg.. He got played by James Spader.

This thread has become a parody. That’s all it was ever going to become. But we have Tucker Carlson to thank for providing the final act of this absurdity.

it will never become more obvious how not-credible this entire thing has become.

and people are staking their reputations on this.

and somehow become the victims when other people point it out.

it’s such a tidy and convenient arrangement

and no personal responsibility will be taken

No one who is genuinely concerned about corruption is going to vote for Trump. EVER. At least not if they are familiar with reality.

It is laughable that Trump's people seem to think that this Hunter Biden story is a reason to vote for Trump over Biden. Even if it is all True.
