I figured we may as well have a separate thread. I’m thinking this story should be looked at with more scrutiny.

Here is an affidavit from a person who witnessed Trump having sex with a 13 yo girl at Epstein’s NY home. Her identity was sealed from the public. These women and girls who came forward were receiving credible death threats as I understand it.

This process has so far been poorly executed. That’s not a pathway to justice.

I actually do have concerns about jumping to conclusions about every single person whose name appears in an email. Epstein clearly cultivated a network of prominent and influential people, and that doesn’t mean all of them can or should be implicated in wrongdoing.

I also think there is plenty of blame to go around, and for years, but the current WH occupant ran on releasing the files and seeking justice, and now he thinks it’s time “to move on” because of course he does.

In my mind you have three groups:

1. Pedo's like Andrew
2. Anyone who still associated with Epstein post conviction.
3. Anyone who associated with Epstein before the conviction. (Though a lot of these people suck too because it seems like it was common knowledge what he was up to.)

Because they were ordered to release ALL the files. This isn't some big conspiracy. The courts ordered the administration to release everything. Even unsubstantiated tips are recorded and filed. It is a bad idea, for the reasons you claim. People are going to see what they want to see, and post misinformation and skewed clips to make whatever they are claiming seem true.

Which is why these days, whether you read an article on Fox, NPR, MSNBC, CBS, CNN, if it's an article that interests you, you have to research it on your own to make sure you are getting the whole story. It's sad we have to do this, but this is the state we are in.

It's why you get images on X saying Trump murdered a baby, or "measured" a girl from the inside, or "SWORN TESTIMONY!" making it all look horrible. They don't mention that it has all been investigated and found to be false claims. Hell, one of the "Sworn testimony" images on X being posted by Krassenstein brothers, if you look closely at the dates of the claim, it would make Epstean 14 years old and already friends with Trump and claiming they were trafficking already at that age. They aren't bothering to tell you that the case was thrown out due to false information.

Big conspiracy? No. Method and timing of release? That is calculated. Of course, they are likely under no obligation to organize anything but I would bet redactions and the sheer volume including anything with likely Epstein’s name is defiant calculated. Bondi is coordinating with Trump and/or a minion keeping them apprised of what the DOJ is doing.

Sworn affidavits from survivors are a real thing. Some of them recanted, but they were plausibly fearful for their lives.

The claim was really made by someone. It's true that the claim has been mostly ignored. The claim has neither been proven or disproven at this time.

The above story is 100% unverified and unfounded. The claim was made in August of 2020, under Biden, and BIDEN's DOJ released a statement that it was false.

Quote the DOJ release that you claim happened or quote a credible source that reported on it. I have not seen or heard anything from the DOJ that they investigated, proved, or disproved any of the claims made about Trump and Epstein. I'm not going to take anyone's word for it.

This is pretty much true. Some of those allegations MIGHT be true, but it is not sufficient to warrant an investigation unless there is some other independent corroboration.

I disagree. A lack of investigation is not proof that something did or did not happen. An investigation that does not find enough evidence to charge does not prove something did or did not happen either.

Just because you keeping saying that it doesn't make it true. Rarely do investigations issue statements they "proved it to be false." They usually say something along the lines of they couldn't find evidence. Lack of evidence does not prove something did or did not happen.

I think your claim, that investigations proved allegations to be false, is false. You could easily prove that your claims are true with a credible source.

And Trump's DOJ has defied the law by not releasing everything and not redacting according to the law. That is completely on Trump and his DOJ.

When I think of the word justice, I think in terms of "consequences for their actions" and lets be honest, not many ultra wealthy face real consequences, unlike regular folk. Almost as if there are two different versions of justice, depending on how much $$ a person has.

I think of it as two steps that can only happen in a linear sequence. The first step is discovering and revealing the truth of what happened. The second step is holding anyone found to have caused harm accountable.

The DOJ is preventing the first step of revealing the truth of what happened and that's specifically what I was referring to. Their can be no justice without both truth and then consequences appropriate to the truth.
