I figured we may as well have a separate thread. I’m thinking this story should be looked at with more scrutiny.

Here is an affidavit from a person who witnessed Trump having sex with a 13 yo girl at Epstein’s NY home. Her identity was sealed from the public. These women and girls who came forward were receiving credible death threats as I understand it.

I read this last night before bed. I need to read it again, and then probably more, after that, connecting and comparing it to other sources of information. It feels, though, like a really important piece of writing that lays out a blueprint for what we’re witnessing.

My initial reaction is that Broderick takes some care not to reach too far beyond what can be established, but connects pieces in plausible ways. I think a lot of us have felt like we weren’t just watching wild random events play out online and globally. The events. The notable figures.

Something that really struck me in recent years was learning about the desire of some powerful people in the tech world who wanted to dismantle democracy. I need to go back and spend time on that again. Curtis Yarvin was a prominent voice and of course Thiel, Musk, Zuckerberg and others. Then adding in the pieces of tech like Facebook, X, and Palantir, and how those are being weaponized against society.

It’s not a shock, then, to see dots connecting all of these people who have been at the forefront of major events in recent years.

The UK are taking actions on the home front. Apparently Mandelson passed confidential government info to Epstein. What is still unclear is if it was done voluntarily or if he was blackmailed.

Wonder how many politicians, business leaders and other influential persons has suffered the same fate? But with an administration with multiple ties on several levels to Epstein everything will probably be buried miles deep.

Number 10 says: "An initial review of the documents released in relation to Jeffrey Epstein by the US Department of Justice … found that they contain likely market sensitive information surrounding the 2008 financial crash and official activities thereafter to stabilise the economy.

"Only people operating in an official capacity had access to this information and (there were) strict handling conditions to ensure it was not available to anyone who could potentially benefit from it financially.

Yeah. Compromised. I think we are beyond the point of treading carefully because we worry about falling prey to conspiracy theories. I think this is all every bit as bad as some people have been warning, and then much worse.

Putin hasn’t hidden his desires for a new world order and re-establishing Russia’s place in that. The U.S. has been the biggest obstacle in the way.

We know, going back years, there were concerns about the GOP cozying up to Russia. One of the earliest politicians I remember being linked was California congressman, Dana Rohrabacher. And then relationships with influential groups like the NRA.

We know that Putin is former KGB and FSB and we know that kompramat is a tool used to control people. Epstein, Bannon, and the powerful network they built. None of this looks like happenstance.

I’ve always tried to stay aware of evidence, what can be proven, establishing facts, but I think we have to accept that, as it relates to this, we will never get all of the necessary information in the time we need it to react. Some really bad actors have been operating just outside of the shadows, enough to give us glimpses, and so we have to trust our instincts that we are already in a literal war for the future of democracy and humanity. This isn’t merely a matter of some political differences.

This wasnt about Israel. They are subordinate to the US at the end of the day. The "Israel runs US" is allowed to play to give cover to the real behind-the-scenes actors.

Do they care where the $100s of 1000s come from? nope. just so that it keeps coming. Those folks are what you call "useful idiots" - another KGB/FSB tactic when it comes to propaganda.

Does he have it all figured out? No and he doesn’t claim to. But it’s going to take people like him, who have the background knowledge and time to sift through troves of information, to bring some sense to it all.

We’re a small group here and I think most of us had already accepted how serious all of this truly is - but it’s looking more dire with the passing of time.

I think being patient, measured, and reasoned is a luxury society doesn’t have anymore. And that’s honestly frightening on its own. Hit the panic button and contribute to whatever resistance exists to hopefully alter the trajectory we’re on.

Trump is a useful idiot to Putin, but I highly doubt anyone in Ukraine believes anything Trump says. I don't think Trump's statement lulled the Ukrainians into a false sense of security. No doubt that's what Putin and Trump were hoping for, but I doubt the Ukrainians fell for it.

It's real easy for me to know how bad it was and who was involved. While Q-Anon was obsessed with a pizza shop and JFK, this is the conspiracy they should have been looking at.

It's real easy for me to know how bad it was and who was involved. The Republicans and Trump have been doing everything to children that they accused Hilary Clinton and Democrats of doing back in 2016. Everyone who has accused Clinton and the Democrats are the ones who are actually doing to children what they are accusing others of doing.

While Q-Anon was obsessed with a pizza shop and JFK, this is the conspiracy they should have been looking at.

These two posts dovetail in the response I want to make, so I'll address them at the same time.

I think it's become clear that Pizzagate served multiple purposes; primarily to create another attack on Hillary's character, to anger people, but also to deliberately float that specific subject matter knowing the Epstein stuff would unravel eventually. Get ahead of it and create doubt and confusion very specifically about sex trafficking. (People who don't want to leave the MAGA cult can either tell themselves that Democrats/Hillary were involved in worse, or if doubt was created about her and Pizzagate, then that doubt benefits Trump et al now.) And it's worked to a great extent.

There was a time when I thought these conspiracies were organic works of imagination coming from the stereotypical sad, lonely, terminally online young guy, and couldn't reconcile why people were falling for it. Now the evidence points in the direction that the stereotypical demographic was the fuel and not the match. These were plausibly top-down operations that were coordinated and deliberate. Instigators like Bannon and Milo Yiannopoulos learned how to operate in these online spaces and manipulate the people there. We know about Putin's commitment to online propaganda and I remember reporting that shed light on Eastern European young men who were getting paid decently to troll and spread propaganda, and generally just be disruptive on social media. Easy money for them for skills and traits they already had.

I think it makes a lot more sense that none of this was really organic, or just crazy internet chatter that caught fire and made it to the mainstream. It was planned and set in motion to manipulate people and elections.

Wow, that's an extraordinary prospect. I usually discount conspiracy theories, but most are wacko. The scheming that would be required for this to be effective seems almost as unbelievable, but it does seem to explain a lot. I'll spend some time reading Broderick's writings. There are still a few journalists that have resources to investigate this. I think we would need other journalists from reputable outlets to investigate this.

Wow, that's an extraordinary prospect. I usually discount conspiracy theories, but most are wacko. The scheming that would be required for this to be effective seems almost as unbelievable, but it does seem to explain a lot. I'll spend some time reading Broderick's writings. There are still a few journalists that have resources to investigate this. I think we would need other journalists from reputable outlets to investigate this.

At this point, I think it’s honestly more surprising when people haven’t come around to, at least, the plausibility of it all.
