A 17 year old employee?

That seems wrong.

It was 100% wrong. This dude is truly unbelievable. Like a walking caricature of the dirty politician trope. Seriously. Here are the highlights:

• He's had his law license suspended like two or three times, and was eventually disbarred. The he somehow got it back, and had it revoked yet again.
• He whipped out an AK-47 to the floor of the House of Delegates during a gun debate to "highlight that it was legal to take weapons like that to places most Virginian's weren't aware of."
• After he had the affair with his seventeen year old staffer, he was convicted of delinquency of a minor, and asked to resign by the democratic party. He did. But then he ran in the special election set up to fill his vacated seat and ended up winning.
• He ran for a state senate seat from outside of the district it represented, getting himself kicked out of his House of Delegates seat. Then ran for mayor of Richmond and lost, then came back and actually won the aforementioned senate seat this year.
• He also married the seventeen year old girl he had an inappropriate relationship with, and they have a son together, which is his sixth child from a total of four women.

You know, typing all of that, if this were a new show on like Netflix, I'd totally watch it.

Of course, he's married to her now. And, according to her mother (did she mean this or was she coerced?), she lied about her age, so while still being like a sugar daddy...

I wonder if some of the VA Dems are just happy he shouldn't end up being another VA politician with a "racist" past.

It's pretty amazing though, when marrying the underaged girl you knocked while she was working for you is one of the the lesser cringey thing you've done lately.
