Figured we should start a separate thread on the arrests and those involved in the storming of the Capitol. I know it has been talked about in the other thread a lot, but for the ones who just want to follow the ones arrested and/or charged, this will be an easier way to see updates on the investigations.

Link below is everyone who has been arrested. But we know there will be more.

The website seems to be updated with new information daily.

The ones who are getting the most air time:

    What a moron

J6 Defendant Fights Officers in Courtroom Today After Conviction for Fighting Officers

Today's hearing was a motion from the government to revoke his bond until his sentencing hearing after he sent threatening text messages to the officer who testified against him at trial and posted other harassing messages on social media. The messages contained racist and antisemitic threats, including threats of sexual violence.
After Judge Paul Friedman ordered GossJankowski into custody in court today because of the messages, the muscular 6'3" insurrectionist stood and fought with officers attempting to handcuff him, knocking into the podium and tables before he was finally dragged off to jail.
Probably not helpful for his sentencing hearing.

CNN) — A former appointee of Donald Trump was sentenced Friday to 70 months in prison for his violent role on January 6, 2021.

Federico Klein, a former State Department appointee, was found guilty following a bench trial before Judge Trevor McFadden this summer of multiple counts, including assaulting multiple police officers that day.

“Your actions on January 6 were shocking and egregious,” McFadden, also a Trump appointee, said during Friday’s sentencing.

According to the judge, Klein assaulted an officer during an initial breach on the Capitol grounds, telling the officer “you can’t stop us.”…….

Any chance stuff like this can be used in the case against Trump?

Trump-hatted rioter sentenced for bear-spraying 8 officers on Jan. 6

Rodriguez, the judge said, was "easily manipulated," and believed it was his duty to come to the capital on Jan. 6, and that the dozens of form email messages he received from the Trump campaign and its affiliates about Jan. 6 were personal invitations rather than mass mailings.

An actor known for his roles on the comedy television shows “Bob's Burgers” and “Mr. Show with Bob and David” was arrested Wednesday on charges that he joined a mob of Donald Trump supporters in confronting police officers during the U.S. Capitol riot, court records show.

Jay Johnston was arrested in Los Angeles on charges including civil disorder, a felony. He is expected to make his initial court appearance in California on Wednesday. Online court records don't list an attorney for Johnston.

Video footage captured Johnston pushing against police and helping rioters who attacked officers guarding an entrance to the Capitol in a tunnel on the Lower West Terrace, according to an FBI agent's affidavit. Johnston held a stolen police shield over his head and passed it to other rioters during the attack on Jan. 6, 2021, the affidavit says.

Johnston “was close to the entrance to the tunnel, turned back and signaled for other rioters to come towards the entrance,” the agent wrote.

Johnston was the voice of the character Jimmy Pesto on Fox's “Bob's Burgers." The Daily Beast reported in December 2021 that Johnston was “banned” from the animated show after the Jan. 6 attack...........

Bob's Burgers has officially reintroduced Jimmy Pesto back to the animated series with the newest episode in Season 14, and with it has revealed the new voice actor taking over the character. Earlier this Summer, former voice actor behind Pesto, Jay Johnston, was arrested and charged by the Department of Justice for his involvement in the January 6th Capital riot back in 2021, and Bob's Burgers officially cut ties with the former star in the years prior. With the Jimmy Pesto character teased to return to Bob's Burgers for Season 14 of the series this year, fans had been wondering who would take on the role.

With the debut of Bob's Burgers Season 14 Episode 5, "Bully-ieve It or Not" on FOX this past Sunday, the end credits for the episode revealed that Jimmy Pesto is now voiced by Eric Bauza, who fans might recognize as the voice behind many famous characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Marvin the Martian, and many more. For fans who didn't notice a key difference in the performances, this is likely why given Bauza has such a dynamic range...............

The FBI and local police in New Jersey are hunting for a Capitol riot suspect who is allegedly on the run.

The search is underway in Helmetta township, where authorities believe Gregory Yetman, an alleged Capitol riot suspect, may be hiding. He reportedly fled on foot into the area.

Police describe Mr Yetman as a white man in his mid 40's wearing a red jacket and a baseball cap.

Law enforcement officials were reportedly attempting to execute an arrest warrant on Mr Yetman when he allegedly ran away.

The manhunt sent local Spotswood Public Schools into shelter in place, and brought a significant police presence to the township on Wednesday.

Police have reportedly deployed drones and are using helicopters to assist in the search.

The East Brunswick police department said on Wednesday that there was no threat to the public as of Wednesday afternoon…….

WASHINGTON — A Donald Trump supporter who bashed in a Capitol window, assaulted police officers with pepper spray and urged the mob to "pull the cops out" during the brutal battle at the lowest west tunnel on Jan. 6 is asking a judge to grant him early release, saying he was "manipulated" by the former president and Fox News.

Mitchell Todd Gardner, who was wearing a Trump hat and a "Reagan Bush '84" sweatshirt during the Capitol attack, yelled “pull the police out,” “pull the cops out,” and “grab their hands and pull them out" during the battle, and then unloaded a fire extinguisher-sized canister of OC spray on officers in the tunnel. He then bashed a Capitol window and entered into a suite of Senate "hideaway" offices that were assigned to Republican senators, including one belonging to Sen. Jim Risch, R-Idaho.

Gardner wrote a memo, stylized as a "Motion for Compassionate Release and/or Reduction of Sentence," that was filed on the docket in his criminal case this week. In it, Gardner states that he and "so many other Americans" were "persuaded by then President Donald J. Trump that he had irrefutable evidence that he had been cheated by a 'rigged election'."

In his memo, Gardner writes that “a large group of hard working red blooded Americans” were influenced by Trump and “felt obligated to act on his behalf” to save the country.

Gardner's memo cites the United States Sentencing Commission's “2023 Criminal History Amendment" which went into effect on Nov. 1, 2023 in arguing for a sentence reduction, though it is unclear if Gardner would actually be eligible under that amendment. Gardner, representing himself pro se, wrote the memo from the low-security federal prison at Fort Dix in New Jersey, where he's being held.

Judge Amit P. Mehta, in March 2023, sentenced Gardner to 55 months, or about 4.5 years, in federal prison. With good time and credit for time served, the 36-year-old is currently scheduled for release on July 15, 2025, according to federal Bureau of Prisons records.

Trump, Gardner wrote, was "the most powerful man in the world" and used his influence "to manipulate others in carrying out his missions while staying above the 'fray'." Gardner wrote that he and others felt "it was an obligation or patriotic duty to ensure the saving of the republic." Jan. 6 rioters thought they were patriots, he wrote.

Now, Gardner says, he realizes "the nature of his crimes against the United States despite having been mislead to believe that they were acts of patriotism at the time." Gardner wrote that he will live forever with "a cloud of shame over" his head.

Referring to himself in the third person, as is common in court filings, Gardner said his mind was “skewed by misinformation” and that he went to the Capitol on Jan. 6 "with the mind set of saving the republic from what he considered was some imaginary force that was set to destroy it.".............

WASHINGTON (AP) — Olympic gold medalist swimmer Klete Keller, who threw his USA team jacket in a trash can after he stormed the U.S. Capitol, was sentenced on Friday to six months of home detention for joining the mob’s Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the seat of American democracy.

At 6-foot-6, Keller towered over police officers guarding the Capitol and other Donald Trump supporters who breached the building, and he was quickly identified by authorities. He pleaded guilty in 2021 to a felony charge and was one of the first rioters to publicly agree to cooperate with authorities investigating the Capitol attack.

Video captured Keller leading profane chants directed at then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, both Democrats. He also joined a chorus of rioters in singing the national anthem in the middle of the Capitol. He resisted efforts to remove him from the Capitol, ripping an elbow away and shaking off a police officer, prosecutors said.……

Former California police chief Alan Hostetterwent on a conspiratorial rant moments before a federal judge sentenced him to more than 11 years in prison for conspiring to bring weapons to the US Capitol during the January 6 riot.

The 58-year-old, who represented himself at trial, told the court on Thursday that the January 6 insurrection was an "obvious set up” that was faked by “crisis actors,” and claimed that Ashli Babbitt, a rioter killed by a police officer at the Capitol, was actually still alive.

The former chief of the La Habra Police Department was convicted in July on four felony counts, including conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding and carrying a dangerous or deadly weapon onto Capitol grounds.

Hostetter joined the Capitol riot with a hatchet in his backpack, and incited others to violence with a bullhorn on January 6, according to prosecutors. He was not accused of entering the Capitol building itself.……
