Capitalism- good or bad?

This is not my answer that it is bad per se, but the following is what triggered this thread. When I think of a country, I think of it’s citizens as being members of Team USA, Team Canada, or Team UK, etc, and with companies, corporations, I see issues where the emphasis is on profits, not my team. For corporations, the team is not my country, but my small group of capital collectors, and one thing that irritates me constantly is when I call a company, say a U.S. based insurance company and I end up talking to someone in India, or the Philippines. Hey profits up, but citizens (team members) are disenfranchised, the income levels of the home country is undermined, millions of jobs exported to cheap labor locations. I’ve witnessed this in manufacturing for at least the last 30-40 years. When it comes to profits there is no National loyalty. As I said, the team is the corporation, and sometimes, it’s not even the people working locally, some of those like assembly line workers are viewed as drains on the bottom line. Thoughts?

July 2026, The Capitalist End Game, have we arrived? My answer is YES we have, fiull blown, full speed ahead!
Everything executed is to maximize profits with a wealth generation mechanism, designed on purpose, by consequence, or by competition and the thrill of ‘accruing $$$’ at other people’s expense, to wholesale disenfranchise huge swaths of citizens, their jobs exported overseas or absorbed by automation.

Then going farther, infiltrating governance with human agents (soon to be replaced by AI agents) who support dreams of wealth for the few, telling the lie “everyone can be rich!”, actively sending more $$$ to the wealthy while allowing infrastructure to deteriorate, the environment to be consumed, the planet to burn, social support networks to evaporate, because “those things cost my friends their rightful profits”, but even farther and self destructive:

The cost of living to skyrockets, housing becoming unaffordable for average citizens. The long term consequences of exporting the expertise of manufacturing, the life blood of a Nation’s security overseas, degrade, cannibalizing markets, vacuuming wealth out, catering to the smaller and smaller pools of greater and greater wealth, until the tipping point is reached and the civilization collapses. Of course we have a pile of weapons to blow ourselves up and make it a quick ending.

The trend is clear. Will the sheep remain sheep or become ravenous wolves and fight back as we approach anarchy?
