I saw that too, but since then I saw this from CBS where they interviewed 3 former classmates and only that one thought he was bullied.A classmate, in a segment just now on the news, described the shooter as a loner and said "he was bullied so much." A description from other shooting incidents we're all too familiar with. Whatever motives might be uncovered, this is another tragic reminder of how often boys and young men are being failed in this country, and the inclination for those who suffer to act out violently.
It's funny that you didn't realize you follow the same posting pattern when you don't want to answer a question and you get frustrated. If it comes out this dude was some kind of groyper. I expect an apology.
You don't know how to debate. You have no idea how to formulate, and articulate a counter argument.

Ex-classmate of Trump rally shooter describes him as "normal boy" — CBS News
An ex-classmate of the gunman who fired shots at former President Donald Trump described 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as a "normal boy."apple.news
There was a lot of progress and success in addressing bullying before Trump's presidency. I can tell you from personal expierence with my kid that all of that dissappeared during Trump’s presidency and the environment in many schools deteriorated significantly as the environment in our country changed for the worse.
Would you say a 2-3 point bump, because that’s what I’m feeling this will lead to.
If it turns out this is political - he fits the groyper profile exactly.
trump could not unite two magnets.
May have been posted but I didn't see it, apparently he posted it after Biden's speech today.
Yeah.. The two biggest moments of the campaign so far are Biden looking weak during the debate and Trump looking strong as shirt right here after someone tried to shoot him in the head.I think the Biden debate and Trump fist pump/"fight" combo pushes the odds significantly in Trump's favor. A 2-3 point bump decides Penn, Mich, Wisc. Trump already leads those states by 1-2 points. Biden likely has more support than the polls so the 1-2 margin is actually even in my guess. Trump moving to a 3-5% poll lead in those states makes it Trump's race to lose. Also, a shooting in Penn makes it a local issue.

I'm going to disagree somewhat with your framing. I think it's reasonable to believe Trump was a specific target - i.e., he wasn't simply "shooting into a crowd." Of course, the chances of your bullets hitting people in the crowd, especially if you miss, is extremely high and at least 3 people were victims of that. But it appears to me, rather clearly, to be an assassination attempt. Now his motivation? I don't have an opinion on that at this point.Bottomline is that a 20 year old doesn't pick up a rifle and start shooting into a crowd unless a lot has gone wrong in their young life. Bullying / domestic abuse can result in kids ending up in online spaces or other social circles where they end up radicalized. So it's certainly likely to be a culmination of experiences and influences.
I'm just guessing this is going to have a lot more to do with anger than politics. It's possible we'll never really know if he didn't leave a clear enough trail behind (I haven't really heard anything to that point).
Somebody is just ignoring that this was a Republican shooter. Maybe Mike Johnson can tell her to turn down the rhetoric?
