Agreed.Despite how I may feel about the politics of anybody that attends a Trump rally, it's sad and tragic this man is anoter victim of gun violence and this assassination attempt. He seemed like a loving man to his family.
Trump has a lot of similarities to Hitler, but lacks the pure ideological motivation that made Hitler into the worst mass murderer in history. His motivations are much more ego driven and personal.
But there are a lot of people around Trump (like Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon and Project 2025 ) who do have those diabolical ideological motivations that Hitler had.
Tell me the lie. This is the problem here. People like you.

AR 15's are terrible hunting rifles. Most hunters in my area use a 30.06 or a .308It is true that when I was young I could hit even a quarter at that distance all day long. Assuming I was using one of my useful long guns.
I sure as hell couldn't do that with an M-16 even back then, and a modern AR is more similar to an M-16, than it is to one of my old long rifles.
I've never fired an AR, but I can see from a distance that they have short carbine length barrels.
I don't know anything about shooting guns. I posted it just so people could see the area in 3D.It is true that when I was young I could hit even a quarter at that distance all day long. Assuming I was using one of my useful long guns.

I would add that the whole point of a bump, is it goes up, then it goes back down, finishing where it started.Would you say a 2-3 point bump, because that’s what I’m feeling this will lead to.
Why? How is that, in any way, relevant to the situation?Luckily this went nowhere.
Former President Donald Trump was wounded in an assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally on Saturday months after House Democrats proposed legislation to remove his Secret Service protection.
Democrat Bennie Thompson, the ranking member of the House Committee on Homeland Security, introduced the Denying Infinite Security and Government Resources Allocated toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable (DISGRACED) Former Protectees Act (HR 8081) on April 19. Democrat Reps. Yvette D. Clarke, Troy A. Carter Sr., Frederica Wilson, Bonnie Watson Coleman, Jasmine Crockett, Joyce Beatty, Barbara Lee, and Steve Cohen co-sposnsored the bill.Dems Worked To Strip Secret Service From Trump
Thompson previously expressed intentions to terminate Trump’s Secret Service protection if a felony conviction resulted in a prison sentence.thefederalist.com
I did nothing of the sort. I said:You brought it up with what you posted implying Biden had something to do with Trump's SS security detail decisions. He never has and never will. It's not under his purview.
And some of Trumps detractors aren’t smart enough to know the difference between Trump and HitlerTrump isn't smart enough to be Hitler
It looked to me like he had a hole in his ear which had by that moment filled in with a blood clot.I don’t think there’s a hole in his ear, though. From what I could see the ear looks largely intact. At most some damage to the very outer part. I think the idea of the damage being from the bullet coming close is far more likely. I’ve also seen trauma docs on Twitter saying the bullet probably didn’t touch his ear. I suppose we will probably never know for sure.
There's a lot of similarities in Trump's style and Hitler's. That's not a coincidence. Trump emulates Hitler. Trump has admitted he's studied Hitler and admires him and that Hitler did a lot of good things.. To pretend that means nothing at all and isn't a huge red flag is moronic. Full stop.Anyone referring to Trump and Hitler in the same sentence to try to make some comparison between the two is making a moronic statement. Full stop.
Who protected Trump after the shooting? The Secret Service. Why? How is that, in any way, relevant to the situation?
And Trump and those around him are promising to round up millions of people, but yeah, that's not big deal and isn't at all Nazi or Hitleresque. There are many historians and scholars who see the parallels between the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany and the MAGA movement. It’s easy to find their discussions and to actually see the parallels. It’s certainly not moronic to see the similarities and warn against them. I can find some if you are genuinely interested next time I’m on here as I am about to leave for the day.
Germany largely sleepwalked into a fascist takeover. We would like to prevent that here. The ones who are Christofascist have clearly aligned with Trump, and are preparing to use him if he gains power. And I have zero reason to believe he would resist their efforts.
Me doth think the lady protest too much. It's not surprising that you would think Trump is like Hitler based on the left wing sources you post here the most.
If you think Trump is like Hitler, you have been brainwashed and you aren't living in reality.
