Assassination attempt on Trump (2 Viewers)

There were 8 shots. Some of them hit the platform, or risers and fragmented. This isn’t hard. The bullet in the picture probably went past him without hitting him. From the angle the picture is taken there is no way to know how much depth there is between the bullet and him.
Here’s an interview with the photographer. That picture is one of a burst. He said he was using a Sony, so likely an A1 or A9, at 10 to 15 frames per second. Go to about 3:08 in the interview and you’ll see a three frame sequence. The bullet, wince and hand toward ear, hand coming away with blood.

I agree and the people who fell for it should probably unfollow the pundits that were pushing that it wasn't the bullet hit Trump.

A recent poll said 1 in 3 Biden voters thought the assassination was staged. BlueAnon

Those three photos are not in sequence however. The two are, and that bullet isn’t present in those two. In the photo with the bullet, there is no blood on his hand yet, which means to me this shot was before he put his hand to his ear. I would be very interested in seeing the full sequence, but this doesn’t really clear up anything.

Edit: Maybe I misunderstood the sequence? The photo with the bullet has to be the first of the sequence, correct?

If it wasn’t shrapnel, then I would tend to believe Dave’s theory about damage from the bullet passing close by. At his last 2 appearances there isn’t any visible damage to his ear, nothing. 🤷‍♀️

I do hope we get a full accounting some day. But we certainly don’t have that now.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Nearly two weeks after Donald Trump’s near assassination, the FBI confirmed Friday that it was indeed a bullet that struck the former president’s ear, moving to clear up conflicting accounts about what caused the former president’s injuries after a gunman opened fire at a Pennsylvania rally.

“What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle,” the agency said in a statement.

The one-sentence statement from the FBI marked the most definitive law enforcement account of Trump’s injuries and followed ambiguous comments earlier in the week from Director Christopher Wray that appeared to cast doubt on whether Trump had actually been hit by a bullet.

The comment drew fury from Trump and his allies and further stoked conspiracy theories that have flourished on both sides of the political aisle amid a dearth of information following the July 13 attack.

Up until now, federal law enforcement agents involved in the investigation, including the FBI and Secret Service, had refused to provide information about what caused Trump’s injuries. Trump’s campaign has also declined to release medical records from the hospital where he was first treated or to make the doctors there available for questions.

If 3 Secret Service agents was "ramped up" security based on supposed Iranian threats I would hate to see what they normally give him

After claiming to have ramped up security around former President Donald Trump because of an Iranian plot to assassinate him, the Secret Service provided only three agency personnel for “post-standing” Trump’s fateful July 13 Pennsylvania rally, compared to the 12 post-standers that first lady Jill Biden received at a dinner in nearby Pittsburgh that night, according to emails between and among Secret Service personnel obtained by RealClearPolitics.

The Secret Service typically assigns special agents in a candidate’s detail, or “shift” agents in Secret Service lingo, to posts within an inner perimeter of an event. The middle perimeter is then monitored by agents pulled for local Secret Service field offices and assigned as “post-standers” assigned to specific spots and responsible for security specific targeted areas.

An email with the subject line, “203.080 First Lady Dr. Jill Bident to Pittsburgh, PA,” notes that the “following 12 personnel have been selected for a temporary assignment as post-standers in support of the First Lady Dr. Jill Biden to Pittsburgh, PA on July 13, 2024.” The email then lists the names of those personnel.

A separate email with the subject line “203.080 Candidate Donald Trump to Pittsburgh, PA” notes that “the following 3 personnel have been selected for a temporary assignment as post-standers in support of candidate Donald Trump to Pittsburgh, Pa on July 13, 2024.”

...In a letter sent Saturday to Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle, Grassley noted that the information about the post-standers doesn’t include a list of Department of Homeland Security personnel or a total list of Secret Service personnel that may have been assigned to the Trump rally, nor does it provide a total personnel breakdown for the first lady’s dinner that night.

The Secret Service turned down drones from the local police, but the shooter was able to fly a drone in the area before the shooting.

Local law enforcement proposed to help with drone technology at the Butler, Pa. rally where former President Donald Trump was nearly assassinated earlier this month but was turned down by the Secret Service, a whistleblower claimed, according to Sen. Josh Hawley.

Hawley (R-Mo.), 44, penned a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Thursday demanding answers about a whistleblower’s allegations that the Secret Service “repeatedly” rejected the offer.

“The night before the rally, US Secret Service repeatedly denied offers from a local law enforcement partner to utilize drone technology to secure the rally,” Hawley wrote to Mayorkas citing the whistleblower.

The whistleblower further alleges that after the shooting took place, USSS changed course and asked the local partner to deploy the drone technology to surveil the site in the aftermath of the attack,” he added.

The Department of Homeland Security is the agency that oversees the Secret Service.

Far more Republicans refuse to believe Trump lost the 2020 election. Lmao. You need to look at the rank hypocrisy of your own party.

The bullet is long gone by the second photo. Those photos are sequential but not 1-2-3. The one with the bullet is previous to the hand going to the ear which is followed by the bloody hand leaving the ear. The photographer was shooting at 1/8000 of a second. He could be shooting at 20 frames per second but probably 15 frames per second. The hand going toward the ear could easily be 5-8 frames after the image with the bullet and the hand coming away with blood could be 5-8 frames after the hand going toward the ear. But it’s still sequential. The ear being hit, hand to ear, hand away from ear is 2-3 seconds. That’s 30-40 sequential frames. Also Consider the bullet picture and the length of the bullet in that image. That’s at 1/8000 of a Second. Two frames later it’s gone.
And the image shows the bullet not tumbling.

I shoot with a Nikon z9 at 15 frames per second. I know what the photo editor sees how he selected those three photos.

Democrats have claimed the election was stolen in 2000, 2004, 2016. Your party has no room to talk.

Okay, I can buy that sequence. I still want to see the complete investigation and charting of the shots. For example, which shot came close enough to damage his ear? The first one? Or did the photographer hear a shot, and start his burst then? Or was the photographer just lucky enough to have started his burst at roughly the same time the shooting started?

I don’t want this to devolve into all sorts of conspiracies - although from what I am reading online it’s too late for that - like JFK. Let’s get everything out in the open now, not a year from now.

Bad faith posting. Once again. Yes, democrats have room to talk. Nobody on the Dem side (or the GOP before Trump) ever refused to concede, tried to steal an election with a fake elector scheme, or sent a mob to break into the Capitol and halt an official counting of electoral votes.

If you try to equate them, this is the height of hypocrisy and a really good example of bad faith posting.

Even someone from the Obama administration thought he didn't really get shot. But then he deleted his account after the post was trending on X.
