I fear we are really going to be in a bad place due to the obvious cuts to the federal agencies that deal with infectious disease, but also the negative effect the Affordable Care act has had on non urban hospitals. Our front line defenses are ineffectual and our ability to treat the populous is probably at an all time low. Factor in the cost of healthcare and I can see our system crashing. What do you think about the politics of this virus?

Supposedly within the next two weeks from the presser I just heard a part of. They wouldn't give a solid answer on the amount of the checks, but $1000 is what I've been hearing from multiple sources (probably in your link I didn't read too.)

Yep. I mean it's a start, but realistically this couldn't be a one-off thing, or it'd be certain to fail. I'm not sure how the math works out, but would think that it would at least need to be monthly until this is over. Something like this could cover food, transportation or rent for some people.

    I couldn't agree more.

Didn't realize idiot talking heads on the news were held to the same standard as the leader of the free world...

ETA: Not to mention all of those morons said that before the head of the WHO came out and said people need to stop doing it. Trump does it the next day.

I get it. Your guy can never be wrong about anything.

I get you too dude. You criticize Trump while ignoring others that have been doing the exact same thing. Is your middle name hypocrite?

That is a riot! Read the other news in the video. Some was super Tuesday some was way before that.

None of that was yesterday or today but make your point..

When it was call China's virus that was from when it was not a global issue just China. When it was called the region it was when it was regional.

Now what trump has done in the last two days is not because it is now a global pandemic now.

    That is ok make excuses

    Rocky Mountain spotted fever!

It is called the coronavirus or covid 19.

Everything else is not the name of the virus.

Calling it anything else is not right it is that simple.

NEW YORK (AP) — Fox News Channel’s influential prime-time lineup is starting to reflect the changed realities of the coronavirus outbreak, without embracing old enemies.

The network most popular with President Donald Trump’s supporters has added a daily coronavirus-themed show and extended news hours, is practicing social distancing on the air and is frequently featuring guests like Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Nicole Saphier.

With the country hunkering down to protect against the virus’ spread, talk of “hysteria” and “panic” was gone Monday from the prime-time opinion lineup that is the network’s engine.

Sean Hannity promised “facts without fear” and said that “we are all Americans.” Laura Ingraham said federal guidelines restricting movement should be taken extremely seriously.

Some things remained consistent: There was time to criticize Democrats and non-Fox media..........

I've said it before....playing clips from months ago when it was called that doesn't show hypocrisy. That would be like a librarian saying that the N word is offensive when she has a copy of Huckleberry Finn on the shelf.

Show me clips of those media folks using those terms AFTER they criticized Trump for doing it.
