    The failure comes just more than a month after the company’s seventh Starship flight also ended in an explosive failure. The back-to-back mishaps occurred in early mission phases that SpaceX has easily surpassed previously, indicating serious setbacks for a program Musk has sought to speed up this year.

    I don't think he will actually do it - especially if Musk has access to the Epstein files... On the other hand - I hope that he does that and get exposed in the files - not that I think it will actually matter for the Maga Cultist. They haven't really reacted in any way to all those republican ministers and politicians who has been exposed over the last 10 years anyway.
     
    The absurdity of all this is beyond comprehension to me......

    A presidential candidate (who, in all fairness, should be incarcerated) gets a huge boost from the richest man on the planet.....

    Said president, once elected, rewards this support by giving richest man and his minions access to some of the most sensitive data in the government and enables him to gut agencies, and of course, he goes after anyone in any agency that is in his own best interest (those investigating him and his companies, etc).....laying off thousands of folks senselessly/needlessly in the process.....

    The two narcissists/egomaniacs have a rift, because there appears to be zero communication between them (because the president always assumes everyone will just fall in line with whatever)......with the president now saying he is considering "deporting" richest man with access to untold amounts of sensitive government data.....

    Is this not a security risk of the highest order? Astounding what this country has become under these idiots........

    The reporter was the one who actually suggested the deporting, DOG said I don't know,,, but we could put DOGE on him, DOGE might eat him. (No quotes, I paraphrased because I had trouble with the sound on the video, and then it took off to show me something else, and I couldn't get it to go back to listen to DOG speaking again.)

    DOGE eating DOG's DOG would be so cool.

    I hope Trump tries to deport Musk, because Musk has the resources to get his due process and expose the illegal, unconstitutional, and inhumane actions by tyrant Trump and his Republicans.

    We all know Trump won't even try to touch Trump, because...you know...TACO. TACO is why everyone must stand up to Trump. Even his armed, masked goons TACO'ed when an unarmed woman at a car wash stood up to them.

    The MAGA cult doesn't have enough votes to keep Trump and his Republicans in the White House or in control of Congress. If Musk does make an election move on Trump and his Republicans, then they will lose a lot more elections.

    The issue is that narcissists and/or megalomaniacs always have to be the "top dog." So they always turn on each other. They cannot cooperate for very long which is saving grace for the rest of us. It's the real world dynamic that inspired Star War's Sith rule of two, only one master and one apprentice both of whom are always plotting the demise of the other.

    Yes, I get that, I'm not saying I'm surprised by the actual spat, of course it was going to happen at some point.....what I'm referring to is how quickly our supposed guardrails came down allowing this scenario in the 1st place.....it's stunning how fragile our government has become to me....all of the security protocols/laws broken, zero accountability, this is not going to end well.....this country needs to find a way to limit the power of the executive branch going forward or this democracy will be over.....

    What Trump and his Republicans have shown is a common mistake that a lot of democratic governments make.

    They make the mistake of thinking elected and appointed officials will act in good faith on too many things, so they broad stroke corruption and power abuse safeguards in their constitutions.

    We can't just broad stroke it and rely on people to follow the broad strokes in good faith. We have to get more specific and we have to have a much larger Supreme Court. 9 people decided the rights and laws governing 347 million people and growing is absurd.

    I agree with the first two. That third one doesn't follow.

    The problem with it is is in a court setting if anything to have nine judges deliberating together is probably too many, five is better and it is three, or five judges, some times 7 which are most often used at the appeals level.

    Your complaint appears to be that 9 judges cannot properly represent 347 million people. If we populated the Supreme court with the same ratio as is currently used to populate the House of Representatives, each judge would represent the views of about 800,000 people, and that is still not coming even close to a reasonable level of representation.

    Having 439 judges on the supreme court and still not have a reasonable ratio between the people, and the judges which "represent" them. No that would be debilitating in the extreme.

    Besides insofar as what judges do it's silly, if not wrong, to think that they represent the people at all. That's what the house and senate are supposed to do, not what the court does.

    Judges are supposed to not even look at what the popularity of an issue is, nor even speak with citizens about a case they are working on. How could judges do that and represent the people at the same time???
