This deranged post seems to have broken through the general election noise today. First the post itself:

You go listen to him talking 15 years ago (or even 10) and then listen to him today.

You’re carrying water for a man who started out as a sociopath and is now a sociopath in serious mental decline.

    He cannot finish a sentence.

But it’s fascinating to watch you do this.
I watched him for a little bit speak at the Elon Musk thing today. He finishes sentences just fine.

So now we’re pretending that smooth talking matters more than what’s actually being said?

Biden has a speech impediment. He speaks slowly. He sometimes stumbles over words. But he also led America out of a global crisis, rebuilt the economy, strengthened international alliances, and passed historic infrastructure and climate legislation. That’s leadership.

Meanwhile, Trump is a fast-talker who sounds confident while spouting delusions, lies, and dangerous authoritarian fantasies. He’s not declining—he’s always been like this: unhinged, self-obsessed, and reckless. If the standard for leadership is now "he sounds fluent while spewing garbage," then we’ve truly lost the plot.

Give me the guy who builds bridges—figuratively and literally—over the one who just burns them down with flair.

He’s available as of Jan 20. I’m sure for a price.

    Not pretending.
Just defending my point that Biden and Trump are different men with totally different "issues" and thus apples to oranges rather than apples to apples.
It is wrong to say that Trump is "declining" the same way Biden surely declined.

You still want Trump at the wheel at 2 AM when the world is burning, given his history? Smoothtalking does not equal competence - any snake oil salesman is a proof of that

I agree. They aren’t equal. Neither man should have been in that race for different reasons.

He was not my choice for the GOP nod, but I'd take him over Biden in that specific 2am or 3am situation.

I watched him for a little bit speak at the Elon Musk thing today. He finishes sentences just fine.
Watch him speak when he’s not trying to read prepared remarks. For a specific example - watch his reply to the reporter who asked him about his being labeled a chicken on tariffs.

He doesn’t finish a thought let alone a sentence. And what he says is nonsense most of the time. Then compare to 10 years ago.

He’s clearly in mental decline. But you go ahead and defend him. That’s your choice here.

This is why I would NEVER make the choice you are making here.

Biden would listen to experts and carefully weigh his options. He’s not convinced he knows more than the generals about everything in the entire world. He wouldn’t let personal concerns outweigh the good of America. He cares deeply about our Armed Forces and would try to protect them.

Trump is mercurial, he is motivated by his own personal gain over the good of our country. He thinks he knows more about every situation than everybody else, when he actually knows nothing. He is petty and vindictive. He cares nothing about laws, rules or conventions. He is immoral, and doesn’t care who would be hurt or killed as long as he can make himself look better. He doesn’t particularly like soldiers, sailors, etc.

Without professional generals to stop him from nuking ex. North Korea? You know that the generals stopped him last time but this time all the "professionals" are gone.

Joe B and Donald T....not the same thing.
Donald T may be quirky or say things that are not typical of a President.
Yet he is not experiencing mental decline.
This is just who he is.
Someone I didn't want as President....but he doesn't get lost on stage and he would be fine in a crisis at 3am.
We both didn’t want him as President, so there’s that. Who would want a caustic, incompetant, wreckless, disastrous felon, any felon, for that matter in charge? Don’t give him a pass because of the perception he’s closer to your political ideal than any liberal. His faults can’t be brushed aside by any responsible citizen.
That said, I disagree with you completely regarding Trump’s mental decline, he’s mentally ill, a megliomaniac, he’s worse today than 9 years ago, he rants and raves, and he was never a virtue in any manner, ANY country would want and now he’s ‘trying’ to engineer its overthrow. If you believe in the idea of The US as it was founded, you must be against him.

This man either lies his arse off daily with the intent of manipulating the gullible, or does not live in reality. I lean to the latter. Worse than that, 70m thought he was the best choice. 😳

Along the lines of “I know it’s wrong, but I just can’t help myself.” 😐

The reveal about you and your motivation in this forum is you keep crying wolf to protect the actual wolf, while trying to convince the participants, it’s just a small dumpster fire in DC…”nothing to see here, move along”.

He is not going to nuke North Korea. Give me a break. You people are so gullable
