    Belief is belief.

    No, atheists are not irrational.

    There is no test, experiment or evidence that can be traced to “God” without the final statement being “I believe”. You cannot create a test or experiment that proves ther existence of God. Which is fine. Believe or don’t believe.

    It does not make any sense that there was a big bang....and a planet formed just the right distance from the sun...not too hot...not too cold....somehow.....and it SOMEHOW has oxygen ....and something crawled out of the muck and somehow became a monkey which somehow being a human.....and actually...how did this big bang end up creating humans that can have two sexes...and the male sends sperm?... ...actually how could there be sperm? ...who created that?....anyway this sperm from the cosmic big bang theory is sent from the male human and it fertilizes the female human....and amazingly she has a womb....and 9 months or so later a baby human is born? That all of this came from a big bang seems so ridiculous.
    Do you know how complex is the human body? How amazing it is? How could we....and the animals.....and the natural beauty all exist unless there was a CREATOR?
    To think otherwise is just because people want THEMSELVES to be the god of their lives. They don't want to be accountable to their actual creator.

    There’s too much wrong in that post and I’m too lazy to address it all especially when it will fall on deaf ears. But you seem to be saying that complex organisms are proof of intelligent design. They are not. You don’t understand natural selection. Complexity does not have to mean nor does it prove the existence of a creator. If it did prove that, then you’d still be in an endless circle of who created the creator.

    Your brain thinks in only finite terms. "Who created the creator?" The Bible says God has no beginning and no end. HE IS from eternity past and will always be into eternity future. It IS beyond comprehension humanly speaking. Natural selection is stupid. My point in my previous post is not stupid.
     
    So you believe that the creator has no end or beginning but refuse to accept the same for the universe? What about the other types of humans that has excisted ? Cro Magnum ? Netandertal ? How would you feel if we found extraterestial life ?

    The Bible says God has no beginning and no end. I can't think of a passage in the Bible that addresses the beginning of the specific word: "universe" but God created the heavens and the earth. The Bible does not address Cro Nagnum or Neanderthals by name. When I used Bing "AI copilot" , I asked what Christian Creationists have to say about them. One group said they were pre flood humans. A different group said post flood humans. I would find the pre flood theory to be more logical. I don't have a problem with hypothetical extra terrestrials. There is not a verse in the Bible that states life only exists on earth so IF an extraterrestrial was proven to exist it would not shake my faith.

    You have it backward. Earth was not perfectly designed to support life (especially human life). Life here formed and adapted to the conditions already present.

    As for the complexity of the human body, you are right. Incredibly complex. It's also incredibly inefficient and, if it were designed, it was designed by some drunken crazy person who got high and threw it together in an afternoon.

    What “sense” something makes proves exactly nothing. Hard science requires starting with hypothesis, creating experiments to test the hypothesis, analyzing results, changing the hypothesis if necessary, conducting tests again (reproducibility), conducting more experiments etc.

    There is no test, experiment or evidence that can be pointed to that shows that God exists. There is also nothing that proves God doesn’t exist.

    Your circular reasoning proves nothing. It can be reduced to saying you believe God exists. Which is fine. You can believe as you like just like the people you listed in the OP. I have no qualms about that at all. My issues arise when believers become religionists who seek to press their religion which is NOT the same as belief or faith on others because they claim God told them to do so.

    It is intriguing because far too many self-professed Christians take whatever sections out of the OT that they want to justify hatred.

    None of which proves the existence or non-existence of God.

    Humans don’t understand every iota of how a world formed billions of years ago came into being, and an easier and more convenient explanation is that we are special among our mammalian counterparts.

    I have my reservations.

    The same for Santa,Tooth fairy,and Easter bunny. I don't believe they exist,but I can't prove they don't using the
    scientific method.
