if yall think we have "immigration" issue, go to any major metropolitan city in Europe to see what a real immigration influx looks like. Even some of the smaller cities have immigration issue.

This has been an issue for decades, only really becoming a big problem in the last 10-15 years.

We were in Paris not too long ago and it was pretty evident, especially as the evening came, the immigration issue. Every corner had pan handlers, impromptu cooking stands ( which was actually pretty cool- one block was say Nigerian cooking, next block was Moroccan - but i can totally see from a locals standpoint ) some were loud, rude and can be intimidating to many. Visitors and locals.

So that influx was the impetus of this National Rally party. Especially with the rise of immigrants in relatively quiet, countryside smaller cities. Those folks see it way differently now than 20 years ago when the immigration was relegated to large metro areas. So it fueled this feeling and the National Rally party ( and others like it in Germany, Belgium, etc ) seized on the opportunity.

The UK just gave the middle finger to the rest of the EU's far right push. If Labour and the Liberal Democrats join forces, that would be a mighty powerful coalition. At this rate, however, Labour clearly doesn't need them.

They are projecting just north of 400.

This and the news from Israel that the two more progressive parties have decided to align which will likely mean that Netanyahu will be ousted are both good news. I don’t have a clue why they didn’t do this immediately to keep him out of power years ago.

If France’s 2 more center and left parties can unite, they can make LePen irrelevant also, IIRC.
