Assassination attempt on Trump (1 Viewer)

And has donated $15 to some sort of democratic political group.
This part is a little bit in doubt from what I’m seeing now. Shooter was 17 at the time of the donation, ActBlue doesn’t allow minors to give, although I don’t know what mechanism there is to check that. Also the city listed on the donation is Pittsburgh and there is an older man with that name who lives in Pittsburgh. So I guess we aren’t sure about that donation right now.

I do understand the concerns over parallels in rhetoric.. it's bad. I just think that the situation and goals are different enough that.. things like literal attempted genocide by a Trump administration.. that's not where we're headed here and the Hitler parallel - unless it's nuanced out - always has that darkest part attached to it.

Trump is supposedly like Hitler, but Biden is supporting genocide in Isreal. Hmmm

Good grief, you need to take a debate class or maybe English. They know the difference. You know the difference. Trump is on record as having read and admired some of the things Hitler did. Go look it up. Does that make him Hitler? No, but it does make people wonder why he's saying stuff like that. If you don't think that's a big deal, then ok. I'd disagree as I think some of Trump's rhetoric is terrible and a reminiscent of dictators.

And fwiw, I don't care to make comparisons with Hitler because it just muddies discussions. I'll just say Trump is a terrible human who has sexually harassed and assaulted multiple women, is a chronic liar and doesn't give a sheet about the country. He only cares about himself. And how he treats people who disagree with him like sheet is telling.

And I'll never, ever forgive him for J6th because I was working at the Captol at the time. Never felt safe there after that happened. Fork him for doing that.
Dave, I feel the same way about Trump and his supporters who participated in J6th. I feel the same way you do in that the thought of that experience causes me great anger and disappointment towards my fellow Americans. I can’t believe that such a tragedy happened, and it’s one of many reasons why I won’t support Trump or his cause.

As to my comment regarding people not being smart enough to know the difference between Trump and Hitler, I’m not so sure. People make these comments too often for me to be certain that they know the difference.

    Appreciate this.

I'll say it again, they know the difference. There obvious parallels, that's not saying they're the same. You're conflating two different things.

Lol, I mean, you're the one making accusations and acting all holier than thou. Fork that.
I’m making accusations about people not knowing the difference between Trump and Hitler, because it’s a valid concern given recent events and rhetoric.

Here, I got this for you.

Are you speaking for all of them?
