 Trump could find the cure for cancer and these Never Trumpers would find a reason to criticize the discovery because Trump did it.

Hah, and Trump knows this and uses it to his advantage.

It's how he got Nancy to embrace AOC and company.😁

Listening to the UNBIASED (lol) NPR today, I was surprised they didn’t lavish the president with praise as they did Obama. Instead they admonished him for taking control of the oil and spiking the ball.
What time were you listening? Was this the news portion or a show? Which show?

Also, did you listen the day Osama Bin Laden was killed (and it was reported) to fairly compare the reactions NPR gave that event compared to this?

When I was listening this AM, it was the local economy show being aired.

They must have deleted the tweet because I don't see it anymore.

    Yes he deleted it.

All I want to know is... How come everyone on NPR either whispers or talks very very softly.

It was between 10-10:30 not local. Why would I need to compare the way they talked about Obama? I heard the speech the president gave, I heard their reaction and it sounded like any talking head on msnbc.

Granted, this is the written article, but please point me to the clear bias?

did you read the entire article? The left leaning journalism starts here

“Trump, who is facing an impeachment inquiry over allegations that he abused his office to help himself politically,”

I’m fairness, it took 12 sentences before the cloak came off.

That is actually the precise point where I saw the article turn. It felt like the first part, while accurate, was setting up the second - Trump says dude is dead. Trump said, Trump said.

And then - a gratuitous statement about impeachment, some lines about how ISIS is no big deal at the time of the killing, but will be again because...Trump

In some ways it is subtle, but it is unmistakable.

Is it not true that Trump if facing an impeachment inquiry over allegations that he abused his office to help himself politically?

Thanks. So, depending on what time zone you are in, it was either 1A or Fresh Air that you were listening too. Not their 'straight news' segments. I'll try to give them a listen later to form my own opinion.

I asked if you listened, because your complaint was that they didnt lavish him with praise like they did with Obama. It's also why I wanted to know the time/show. Perhaps, your assumption that Obama was lavished with praise isn't as universal as you think, or accurate. It might be. It might not be. But your statement seemed more definitive than that. I think the more honest statement would be that the show didnt heap ad much praise as you'd like or as much as you feel like Obama got.

That’s not the point. Why did they not say that there was zero collusion between the trump campaign and the Russians. Also true, but irrelevant to the article.

I was alive when Obama had the courage to kill Osama. I heard the narrative throughout the media. Can I say that this exact lady didn’t lavish Obama, no. But I’m not sure that is the standard by which one firms an opinion.

you are obviously a fan of the station, so I understand your desire for them to be perceived as unbiased.

Yes. 12 mostly long, complex sentences.

That shows potential editorial bias, depending on if the 40 min Q&A hit on the subject of the impeachment inquiry, since those two points were in the same sentence. If not, it is a bit gratuitous, yet 100% accurate to state. It may imply that this was a distraction about his own issues. That may or may not be fair. And they didn't connect the dots. They let the reader connect that dot, or not.

I wanted to make a point I feel like a few of you are comingling... that is, bias doesn't mean untrue. And truth isn't always the whole picture.
