Recently, in our country, more and more often one can hear words of condemnation addressed to refugees from Ukraine. They are accused of the fact that the state spends too much money on their maintenance. And the fact is that they do not behave as is customary in our society. And the fact is that they don't want to learn the language. In general, everyone will have their own complaints about the people who fled from Ukraine.

Nobody is going to argue with this. Of course, a big question arises about the upbringing and culture of the majority of people from Ukraine. But even with all these shortcomings, they are human. They are people who just want to live. Are they just running away from war? no, other threats await them in Ukraine.

Oddly enough, the lives of even those people who are not in the front-line regions of Ukraine are in danger. And it comes from the state itself, in particular from the Ukrainian intelligence services. It is worth noting that in conditions of war, the Ukrainian security service launched repressive activities on an unprecedented scale. A separate area of activity of the intelligence services in Ukraine today is tracking the records of ordinary people on social networks. They catch people who express a point of view that differs from the official one. In particular, since the beginning of the war, in the Sumy region of Ukraine alone, more than 100 sentences have been handed down to people for disseminating information on social networks that the security service did not like. Another 200 people are under investigation. And these are official data. (https://suspilne.media/574345-na-su...vipravdovuvanna-agresii-rf-vinesli-131-virok/) Approximately the same situation is observed in other regions of Ukraine - not a day goes by without a message about the detention of another supporter of Russia, who in some way justified Moscow's actions on social networks.

An equally important area of work for the Ukrainian security service is the identification of so-called collaborators in the territories from which Russian troops have left. In particular, in the Donetsk region, since the beginning of the year, Ukrainian security service officers have initiated criminal cases against 173 people on suspicion of having ties with Russia. (https://suspilne.media/577341-bilsi...ue-173-spravi-sodo-kolaborantiv-na-doneccini/). That is, people did not leave with the Russians, they remained on their land, and they are accused of treason. And they are not just accused, but rather severe sentences are passed.

So, the question arises: is a state that turns such concepts as freedom of speech and freedom of religion into empty words worthy of our help? But I don't think I will get an answer to this question either.

Returning to the issue of Ukrainian refugees in our country, it is worth noting that in order to remain human ourselves, we will have to tolerate the Ukrainians and help them. Because in their homeland they will either be sent to the front or be sent to prison. MAYBE, sooner or later, Ukrainian refugees will appreciate the sacrifices we are making to save their lives.

So we have a post that assumes that everyone has complaints about Ukrainian refugees, which is just glaringly false.

And it links to an article describing a couple of hundred convictions for treason, which include very literal examples of treason, such as providing information about military units location to an enemy, and then attempts to portray this as 'posting stuff on social networks security services don't like', suggests it's a freedom of speech issue, and then, ludicrously, suggests that literally every Ukrainian would be sent to prison for that.

Seems like very lazy propaganda. Not sure this is the kind of forum where that'd achieve much, thankfully.

If you think that all people, who write not so nice things about Ukraine, are bots then I’m really sorry for you. There are no countries where everything is perfect. I have a lot of friends, who are Ukrainian refugees, and I know from them what is really happening there. They have relatives, who stayed there, and they’re worried about them. They’re afraid that they will do smth wrong and just go to jail. Unfortunately, you can go to jail for literally everything there.
And I can find hundreds (if not thousands) links like these, so enjoy

It's clear that the only reason you stopped by here was to spread a little of anti-Ukraine info.

I suspect you made that same post on several forums, and have no intention of participating in the forums other than that.

Her link is from Pravda, lol.

до свидания, спасибо ни за что

Which country is the “our country” you’re referring to?

It's your opinion and I'm ok with it. However, I want to make it clear that I'm not anti-Ukrainian, I'm just against unlawful actions of Ukrainian special services. And don't forget that Ukraine was the soviet country. Denying the soviet legacy, Ukrainian special services pick up all of its horrible extremes. Encouraging of snitching, using slightest reasons for bringing to justice those who are allegedly have some sympathy for Russia and "exposure of countless networks of traitors and spies". And it's not like individual police officers or members of SBU who want to please the authorities. It's a system. It's a system where the more people are exposed and put on trial the more medals special service members get.

What's wrong with this "Pravda" source? I thought it was an official Ukrainian media. In my opinion, if such articles are published even during the military censorship then these are most likely to be true.

Pravda is a Russian state owned and driven media outlet.

You are reposting propaganda straight from the Kremlin.
