The Trump administration said it is pulling the plug on New York City's controversial congestion pricing plan, just weeks after it started, but Gov. Kathy Hochul and the MTA are fighting to keep it in place.
In a letter to Hochul on Wednesday, the U.S. Department of Transportation said it was terminating its Nov. 2024 agreement with the state. This after President Trump spoke with Hochul at least twice about ending the program, according to a highly placed source familiar with the matter.
