The Conservative Fool’d Ya Game and in some cases “fooled ourselves game”, takes something dark and slaps a sunny label on it, like “liberty” as part of “Moms For Liberty” redefining it into something else “my liberty and f*ck the rest of you”. It’s observable in school districts and religion. Freedom of religion, which includes freedom from religion, becomes “freedom to shove my beliefs down your throats.”

good, now I have a reason to post this moms for liberty article

Their new moniker after democracy has been vanquished: Moms for Fascism.

What he meant, and I hope you know this, is that we need to read their quotes to see how much they sound like today's progressives.

I know it may be hard to be analytical when you see an African-American who is Republican.

To be honest, today's progressive don't sound as much like Hitler and Stalin, anymore. That was progressives of ten to twenty years ago. Today's progressives seem entirely focused on the sexualization of children, and that is unique. They're not even doing that in Europe anymore.

Stalin and Hitler did talk about getting to the children to ensure that their movements lasted a thousand years, but it was political and racial, not sexual. Not openly. Prior to recent times, people who wanted to groom children politically kept any sexual desires for them hidden.

…and MFL had a Hitler quote they pulled, and it was not first put up to examine liberal positions, it is because one of them liked the quote. This is a fascist group and it’s a classic move to hang all the negativity you or your group posses on your adversaries as a means of diversion. Hell, Trump does it every damn day.
In the Duh,This Was Not Recieved So Well Dept, instead let’s examine liberals for Hitleritis:

    Prove it.

It was a mistake to put it up, because people eager to misinterpret them were given an opening.

But they did not put it up because they like Hitler, that's absurd.

yes, Hitler and Stalin didn't invent the concept that the way to change culture is to influence the minds of children.

it's a good tactic, and should be used by anyone wanting to actually change culture.

Jesus loves the little children of the world.

How do you know what he meant to say? Did he call you and explain what he meant to say? He said what he meant and when it wasn't received how Mothers for Fascists thought it would be, they apologized for it. You added in "that we need to read their quotes to see how much they sound like today's progressives." That only existed in your mind because it was nowhere to be found in that article.

Preacher man has put his foot in his mouth multiple times with respect to quoting Hitler and others and so have MFF. When people show you who they are, believe them. Mr Robinson doesn't need you or anyone else to offer up and explaination for "what he meant". He said exactly what he meant. Don't try to sugar coat it because it makes him and MFF look like the fascists they are.
But they did not put it up because they like Hitler, that's absurd.
What is absurd is that they quoted Hitler in the first place. If they hadn't gotten the backlash that they did, they would not have pulled it. You know why, because they believe in what Hitler was trying to do and what he actually did.

If you are intelligent, you’d say I like this quote, but unfortunately it’s by Hitler. The “if” part is pertinent here. And our Nazi equivalence, the Confederate flag is not shunned at Trump events.

Entirely right. Nobody accidentally quotes Hitler.

It's honestly laughable that anyone would try to claim otherwise. It's just not a serious argument.

One of the MFL on Twitter had a screen name containing 14 and 88. You just cannot make this stuff up. Sure it was an accident, lol.

Welp, I learned something new. I looked up 14 88, because I had no idea what you were referring to. Now I'm not going to be able to not look for it.

I agree that is absurd to like Hitler, yet everyone that I've heard about that likes Hitler is on the right, such as the Proud Boys, and other neo-nazi groups. Do you think persuasion of children is limited to liberals? If so, you're wrong, because everyone does it to some extent as you teach them your values, but the right is far more into indoctrination than the left. All churches are centers of indoctrination of your religious POV. Some are more harsh in their approaches, but all are indoctrinating on nearly every aspect of life. All book bannings are to assure only your doctrine is available to learn.

Here I go siding with @Snarky Sack again. He's right.

This was the quote in question:
    Adolf Hitler said:
“He alone, who OWNS the youth, GAINS the future."

It was very obvious from the beginning that MFL were using the quote to imply that progressives were attempting to gain control of children through LGBTQ+ indoctrination to eventually gain control of the future. By posting this quote from Hitler, the goal was to demonstrate that the plan was comparable to Hitler's machinations for the Hitler Youth, and therefore imply that the LGBTQ+ movement is comparable to the evils of Hitler and nazism.

The problem, as MFL found, is that the quote can easily be turned right around on them to imply that it is MFL, not the LGBTQ+ movement, that are attempting to control the youth through their various attempts at book banning, intervening in classrooms, etc.

And when you do that, you notice that, hey wait a minute, wasn't Hitler a big fan of book banning and controlling schools?

    Wasn't nazism a far-right ideology?

Didn't Hitler put millions of LGBTQ+ people in concentration camps?

Isn't MFL a lot more like Hitler than the LGBTQ+ community is?

And that's how we get where we are.

Yes, except I don’t give them the credit you do. The whole story they gave about ‘oh, we meant it was the left who are trying to control the children’ was their spin when they started to get pushback.

I think they meant it as Hitler meant it - we are going to capture the children so we can own the future. I say this because at one of their recent conferences (which they have all the time to better indoctrinate folks) a speaker floated the idea that people need to read more of Hitler‘s writings (several other authoritarians were also named, but I forget who else). As in - there’s a lot of wisdom and we are ignoring it.

Are we still giving them the benefit of the doubt? 🙋🏼‍♀️ I’m not.
