I’m sure we do by now. Feel free to research it.Do we have long data on their effectiveness and possible side effects?
Seems our system of government is working like intended. At a time when reproductive rights are under unprecedented attack across the country, Maryland took a significant step to increase access to abortion statewide.
Not only will women in Maryland benefit from the forward-looking legislation that lifts outdated barriers on who can perform abortions, but also the expansion of access could help women from other states where laws are being passed to restrict or ban abortions in anticipation of a Supreme Court ruling soon on a Mississippi case challenging Roe v. Wade.
If the court — as abortion rights activists fear — rolls back or overturns the landmark 1973 decision-making abortion legal across the country, it is expected there will be an influx of women into states such as Maryland that are committed to keeping the procedure safe and legal.
The Democratic-controlled General Assembly voted last weekend to override Gov. Larry Hogan’s (R) veto of a bill that would allow advanced practice health clinicians — including nurse practitioners, midwives and physician assistants — to perform in-clinic abortion procedures, in addition to the medical abortions, using medication to end a pregnancy, that they already were allowed to do.
The Abortion Care Access Act also expands Medicaid coverage for abortion, requires most private insurance to cover the procedure and establishes a $3.5 million program to train medical professionals in abortion care. The measure will take effect July 1…….
Badly?Seems our system of government is working like intended.
Yes, but more to the point, as each state being a little 'experimental city states' of democracy. That is why most left run cities and states are nightmares.Badly?

As opposed to your state? How does your state stack up nationally?Yes, but more to the point, as each state being a little 'experimental city states' of democracy. That is why most left run cities and states are nightmares.
are you saying the crime rate is higher in right run states/'cities than the left run states and cities? That's not even remotely true. Are you saying rural areas or areas where Republicans control the government are run well?
My state is run by corrupt republicans so not good my guy. Not good. However, I would imagine the crime rate is night and day so safety of the citizen is higher in republican run states and cities. As opposed to your state? How does your state stack up nationally?

Here are the 10 states with the highest homicide rates:
- Louisiana (12.4 per 100,000 people)
- Missouri (9.8 per 100,000 people)
- Nevada (9.1 per 100,000 people)
- Maryland (9 per 100,000 people)
- Arkansas (8.6 per 100,000 people)
- Alaska (8.4 per 100,000 people)
- Alabama (8.3 per 100,000 people)
- Mississippi (8.2 per 100,000 people)
- Illinois (7.8 per 100,000 people)
- South Carolina (7.8 per 100,000 people)
You would be wrong, but then again …..My state is run by corrupt republicans so not good my guy. Not good. However, I would imagine the crime rate is night and day so safety of the citizen is higher in republican run states and cities.
I don’t think you understand anything about what you just posted. Not one thing.https://www.judicialwatch.org/aborted-human-tissue-lab-contacted-nih-for-publicity-help/
In August 2021, Judicial Watch and the Center for Medical Progress through a separate FOIA lawsuit uncovered HHS documents that revealed nearly $3 million in federal funds were spent on the University of Pittsburgh’s quest to become a “Tissue Hub” for human fetal tissue ranging from 6 to 42 weeks gestation. Among other findings, the records revealed:
- The aims of the project listed in the original 2015 proposal were to “develop a pipeline to the acquisition, quality control and distribution of human genitourinary [urinary and genital organs and functions] samples obtained throughout development (6-42 weeks gestation). … [and] generate an ongoing resource to distribute fresh developmental human genitourinary samples from various stages (6-42 weeks) to the GUDMAP [GenitoUrinary Development Molecular Anatomy Project] Atlas projects.”
And this was put in January:

testing.html
The FDA stressed in a press release that these tests provide information about the possibility that a child will be born with a “serious health condition,” noting that these are merely screening tests, and that additional information is needed to confirm whether the baby is affected.
“While genetic non-invasive prenatal screening tests are widely used today, these tests have not been reviewed by the FDA and may be making claims about their performance and use that are not based on sound science,” Jeff Shuren, director of the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health, said in a statement.
Profit, not some warped notion of women's rights.
It's actually about the same, but don't let that interrupt your talking point parroting.are you saying the crime rate is higher in right run states/'cities than the left run states and cities?

Well, that crazy. It seems the states numbers are dictated by the blue cities.
Yes, but more to the point, as each state being a little 'experimental city states' of democracy. That is why most left run cities and states are nightmares.
Looks like the huge murder spike was due to BLM and defund the police. Do you think those organizations were active in local governments in conservative areas?Every news outlet from FOX to CNN to The New York Times to local newspapers has a story with attention-grabbing headlines like “US cities hit all-time murder records.” Fox News and Republicans have jumped on this and framed it as a “Democrat” problem. They blame it on Democrat’s “soft-on-crime” approach and have even referred to a New York District Attorney’s approach as “hug-a-thug.” Many news stories outside of Fox have also purported that police reform is responsible for this rise in murder and have pointed to cities like New York and Los Angeles.
There is a measure of truth to these stories. The US saw an alarming 30% increase in murder in 2020. While 2021 data is not yet complete, murder was on the rise again this past year. Some “blue” cities, like Chicago, Baltimore, and Philadelphia, have seen real and persistent increases in homicides. These cities—along with others like Los Angeles, New York, and Minneapolis—are also in places with wall-to-wall media coverage and national media interest.
But there is a large piece of the homicide story that is missing and calls into question the veracity of the right-wing obsession over homicides in Democratic cities: murder rates are far higher in Trump-voting red states than Biden-voting blue states. And sometimes, murder rates are highest in cities with Republican mayors……
