President Biden on Sunday night issued a sweeping "full and unconditional pardon" of his son Hunter, who was convicted earlier this year of federal gun and drug charges and was facing more federal tax charges in California.
The pardon covers offenses that Hunter Biden "has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024," and is not limited to offenses charged or prosecuted.
