Everyone should be able to acquire and trade stocks. That said, a close eye should be kept on them due to the potential corruption and influence.

Everyone should be able to acquire and trade stocks. That said, a close eye should be kept on them due to the potential corruption and influence.

That's the problem, isn't it? Who is it that's going to keep an eye on them, and what criteria should be used? Without knowing every bit of information that they have been given, and every stock trade they make, we'll never know if they are using that information.
