Two giant pandas are on the way from China to Washington less than a year after the National Zoo said goodbye to a pair of pandas that were on loan from China.
The pandas — Bao Li and Qing Bao — departed Chengdu and arrived in Anchorage at 10:07 p.m. EDT Monday, according to plane tracker FlightAware.com. From there, the bears left for Washington's Dulles International Airport and were scheduled to land at 9:55 a.m. EDT on Tuesday.
