    Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the richest woman in Russia and the widow of Yury Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow, Senate Republicans revealed in their report on the younger Biden’s work in Ukraine.

    Baturina is referenced in the 87-page report, which was released Wednesday, addressing her payment to Biden’s investment firm in early 2014.

    “Baturina became Russia’s only female billionaire when her plastics company, Inteko, received a series of Moscow municipal contracts while her husband was mayor,” it said in providing background on the businesswoman.

    The report described her involvement with Biden as “a financial relationship,” but declined to delve deeper into why the wire transfer was made.

    The probe also found that Baturina sent 11 wires transfers between May and December 2015 to a bank account belonging to BAK USA, a tech startup that filed for bankruptcy in March 2019.

    Nine of those 11 wire transfers were first sent to Rosemont Seneca Partners, the investment firm founded by Biden and Chris Heinz, stepson of former Secretary of State John Kerry, before being transferred to BAK USA.

    We all know their is massive corruption on both sides of the aisle. Here is an alleged allegation against Hunter Biden who was allegedly enriching himself because his Dad was Vice President.
     
    The low hanging fruit stories about Hunter Biden aren't going to do anything other than convince Trump voters to keep voting for Trump. Never mind the NY Post is basically a tabloid owned by Rupert Murdoch. If on the one hand one wants to argue the bias of CNN, MSNBC, etc. then, on the other hand, one must acknowledge the bias out of the NY Post.

    Nothing I've seen in these stories is any more egregious than the stories about Trump and his children.

    Speaking of Hunter Biden, he is probably pretty nervous right now after his former business partner's conviction was reinstated. They probably thought they were in the clear once the District Judge Ronnie Abrams vacated his conviction and granted him a new trial.

    Abrams is the wife of Mueller Special Counsel prosecutor Greg Andres. Andres was a Deputy Assistant Attorney General for the Obama DOJ Criminal Division.

    Ok, so a firm wanted to pay him a lot for introductions. Then later decided to give him an equity stake in a company, which would be better for his family. Why is it that "introductions" or "family" is only code for Joe Biden? A more lucrative offer for any of us would be good for ourselves and our families. Perhaps he just wanted to show this guy that he's a family man. Maybe family is important to him?

    What introductions? Joe wasn't really in politics in 2017. Sure, he has connections, and I'm sure Hunter has a lot of the same ones. That being said, Hunter also has far more connections in Ukraine since he was on the board of an energy company. For all we know, he was brokering a deal between the Chinese and Ukraine. There isn't anything wrong with that.

    Assuming any of this is even accurate.

    Why hasn't Trump had Hunter prosecuted?

    Why did he let Rudy leak stuff to the NY post and risk jeopardizing the prosecution of the Biden crime family?

    The NY Post story includes a picture of a DOJ subpoena for the computer issued on December 9, 2019 -- nine days before the impeachment hearings began regarding Trump's requests to a foreign government for dirt on Hunter Biden (and many months after he asked). The subpoena was requested after Giuliani allegedly received a copy of the hard drive from the shop owner. I think the obvious answer is that Trump did direct the DOJ to investigate and prosecute Hunter Biden (through Giuliani or associates of Giuliani) for whatever they could come up with, and that they chose not to. He has made tons of comments since his COVID tour about Bill Barr not doing enough to arrest all of his political enemies. If I had to guess, the decision was made recently not to proceed with any indictments so Giuliani sent it to the NY Post.
     
    I just don’t believe anything to do with Hunter Biden is going to move the scale in Trump’s favor. He and his supporters having been screaming “where’s Hunter?” For a couple of months now. Thing is...no one cares.

    I think the plan was to have this big “where’s Hunter” movement going strong by this point and then dropping this at the end for the last push—but his emails. Problem is that “where’s Hunter” never took hold, so this is falling flat. The only people that seem to care are Trump’s supporters. He isn’t gaining anything from this.

    I take exception to this. I look into these things, I read all of the e-mails and I think about it. I clicked on all three articles SFL posted in this thread (or the other one.. I'm losing track).

    All of your laughter shows is that you're being partisan and not actually looking into this either.
     
    The difference is Hunter is/was out there trading on the family name and assumed connections for profit. Not a good look. Not a fan of that Good 'Ol Rich Boy Network.

    Don Jr, Eric, Ivanka and Jared were given power, position and authority by the sitting President to go out and make exactly the same kinds of deals as Hunter.
