I’m sure much of us are having 2016 flashbacks this morning with a sick feeling to our stomachs..

2 of the last 3 elections Democrats have lost to a far right demagogue

Harris didn’t get close in many states to even Biden’s performance. We could very well lose the Presidency, Senate AND House depending on results the next few days…..

What went wrong?
What could’ve been done better?
What can we change in the future to ensure voters are motivated like they were when Obama was elected?

Democrats have no choice but to admit there’s a huge problem with some aspect of their platform— and to do a deep introspection of what’s going wrong..

Both Cuomo and Adams will be running in the general as independents. Those two jackarses might help a
Republican win the election.

432k votes for Zohran in primary, 312k for Silwa in the last general.

Cuomo must think he can pick up votes from the right? I'm not sure what the strategy will be, it wasn't a close primary.

I just finished my 183 days of teaching. I have more time on my hands for a few days. Yet June 28th my wife and I will be taking a Singapore Airlines flight....not returning until July 13th. I don't think I'll be posting or bothering California liberals much.

if you are departing Newark, you hope to fly out on June 28th.

forking idiots don't care. If they can't have it, they'll ensure the worst kind will. Typical democratic stupidity.
Not all in the democratic party are that way and most don't do that, so I don't see it as typical at all. We always criticize the most well behaved child the most, because we know the one that behaves badly is a lost cause.

It happens way more often than expected. Recently happened here in East Baton Rouge parish. The mayor/president knew she was in trouble with the councilman running against her, so she got allies to run in the same election to pull votes from him. Worked to a tee. She then lost handily to the Republican who is doing a wonderful job trying to tear things down in favor of the new city that just split from the parish.

We could also argue about Biden's refusal to not run for re-election despite the numbers and where that has us now. Ego is a strong thing amongst some people. I'm almost expecting Chuck Schumer to do it if AOC primaries him and wins.

Too much and more than expected are still not typical. You've show a few races out of hundreds, so it's not typical. It's bad when it happens, but it's still not typical. It's the exception.

Cuomo spotted getting an update last night

Man Schumer has to be sweating after this. All signs point towards him getting waxed by AOC in a primary.

Donald Trump blasted New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani on Wednesday, labelling the 33-year-old who beat former governor Andrew Cuomo in a historic win for the Democratic primary, “a 100% Communist Lunatic” who “looks TERRIBLE” in a series of mocking Truth Social posts.

“Zohran Mamdani, a 100% Communist Lunatic, has just won the Dem Primary, and is on his way to becoming Mayor. We’ve had Radical Lefties before, but this is getting a little ridiculous,” Trump wrote of the state assemblyman, who represents parts of the president’s birthplace of Queens.

“He looks TERRIBLE, his voice is grating, he’s not very smart, he’s got AOC+3, Dummies ALL, backing him, and even our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer, is groveling over him. Yes, this is a big moment in the History of our Country!”……
