Biden is no stranger to spoken gaffes. It just happens that he'll be running against an opponent who is even more reckless with what he says. What this ensures is that the outrage loop will be dialed up to unprecedented levels.

Well to be fair, sometime it doesn't even matter who he is running against. I hardly thought Mitt Romney was playing fast and loose with his words during the time when Biden said Romney was going to put the AA community 'back in chains' back in 2012. That is the danger of Biden infront of cameras....or people really. He is a gaff machine.

Already acknowledged this, with the counterpoint that Trump is quite often careless in his own regard. It will be interesting to see how the missteps by both candidates play out against each other.

It's more like 80-85% but that's all Trump needs and he'll get it because Trump Bucks. 😂

So...you think 6% of black voters will tip that way just because they got a lousy arse $1200 check from trump. You really don't know us that well. I was halfway tempted to donate my trump check to the Biden campaign.

It's alot more than any Dem president has ever given so yes.

You did the right thing because Trump will win and it would have been a waste.

I just watched it on TV, replayed in real time.
Worst case of foot-in-mouth, "Oh, no he didn't!" and FACEPALM I've seen in a long time.
Here's to Joe. He's always good for a gaffe.

Looks like Biden could win by default (and with historic margins of victory):

I think the right way to go is to choose Val Demings. Makes too much sense. It should cement the Biden victory even more so:

Oxford has a relatively good record on U.S. presidential elections. They predicted a razor thin 2016 race in June, 2016

So Joe also said during that interview that the NAACP has endorsed him in every election he has ever been in.

Who would be shocked if Joe fibbed about that?

Thread about Biden. But response is.. but Trump, reeeeeeee.
Right. Like you have never, ever posted to point out someone's hypocrisy comparing their actions to someone else. Quit your snowflaking and toughen up a bit.

But hey, let me put on my Intensesaint hat...

"Thread about Biden, but response is... but V Chip, reeeeeee."

I'm SHOCKED I tell you, SHOCKED!

Maybe he just misremembered all those endorsements.

Derrick Johnson, president and CEO of the NAACP, made the following statement about a remark by former Vice President Joe Biden during his Friday morning interview on “The Breakfast Club.”

“Yesterday, former Vice President Joe Biden made a comment about the NAACP’s endorsement. We want to clarify that the NAACP is a non-partisan organization and does not endorse candidates for political office at any level.

You and your ilk will vote Dem to get Trump out of office. I remember seeing yall melt when in May 2016 I told yall Trump would win. I was critized and down voted . I even posted a $300 wager on it.

I'm telling you now Trump is already re-elected. Virus, economy be damned. Watch.

It's sad. Democrats are constantly trying to bring the USA to Communism. Or Socialism and we aren't letting it happen.

Vote whoever you want. Trump has already won. I don't need to see polls. They are fake news. Good luck.

Biden's got the same flaw as Trump where he'll just say shirt.

I also saw it cited in a The Hill article earlier today that when he ran for president in 1988 someone wrote back then that basically Biden was missing the filter that should prevent him from saying the stupid things that pop into his head.

I've always felt like Biden took the black vote for granted. Almost as if he was ordained to get it by default. Not something that ever sat well with me. But then, as a constituency, black voters are who really propelled his candidacy to the nomination. So what do I know.

Hard to see how this will play, but I doubt the black community will be moved by republican outrage when they can't even bother speak out against confederate status and flags. The hypocrisy is pretty thick.
