If that was the case, you would not have police officers, servicemembers, firefighters spouting off conservative, MAGA rhetoric on the job.

Most cops are conservative.

The height of hypocrisy is being antigovernment and having a government job.

I know that, but over the past few decades the left has been pretty hostile to Christianity. It makes me wonder why some people on the left celebrate Christmas, a predominately CHRISTIAN holiday.

There will never be colonies on the Moon or Mars. Underwater? Perhaps but unlikely. Above the ground? The energy required would be enormous. Orbiting in space? Possibly but the long term physical impact on those born in gravity then living for multiple years in zero G are unknown. Even more to consider is those born and raised in zero G attempting to cope with gravity.

There's also evidence that most species can't reproduce in space and it doesn't seem to be a direct result of zero gravity.

As for abortion? It is not a matter of invented. It has existed for centuries. It will continue to exist. One of the reasons is the unwillingness of western society as a whole to come to grips with the inherent flaws of a system of organization built upon individualism. Humans are social animals. Individualism demands that humans act against their nature.

Christmas is a Christian holiday.

The Christmas tree - pagan. Hanging stockings - pagan. Santa Claus - pagan under the influence of red and white magic mushrooms. Oh yeah, red and white - pagan. Dec 25th - pagan. Exchanging gifts on Dec 25th - pagan. Mistletoe - pagan. True story. And just for good measure, the Christ mythology - Egyptian.

The Catholic church, the original universal Christian church, couldn't get the pagans of Europe to stop their pagan celebrations and rituals, so the Catholic church claimed them as Christian. I'll hit you back up in spring with Easter - Pagan Part 2.

None of that takes away from what Christmas means to each individual, but there's nothing originally Christian about Christmas or even the Christian mythology itself. It's all derivative with just enough writing changes to keep it from being a direct copyright violation.

It's also a hodge podge of traditions from a bunch of other cultures throughout Europe. The mythology of Santa Clause is heavily influenced by the Germanic and Scandinavian cultures. When people were snowbound for long periods of time, the clan shaman would drop Amanita Muscaria into their chimney/flue to help them stave off depression and cabin fever. A person dropping off little gifts through chimneys to make people happy with an association to red and white. Sound familiar?

It is not right wing propaganda it is the truth. Blacks and Latinos don't get along. In fact, no one gets along with anyone. That's okay. We do not have to get along with everyone, but we have to respect each other.

But even if cops deescalate, they won't cooperate. Blacks are rebels.

Black cities have HUGE backlogs and caseloads. A lot of detectives don't do anything. It's best for a cop to remain a cop and decline promotion.

If I were a cop, I would want to remain a cop or ask to take the Sergeant's exam. You do not have to be a detective to be a sergeant. I would rather be a Lieutenant or a Captain or a Inspector/Deputy Inspector on the force.

Detectives in black cities don't do anything.
