Anxiety surges as Donald Trump may be indicted soon: Why 2024 is 'the final battle' and 'the big one'

WASHINGTON – It looks like American politics is entering a new age of anxiety, triggered by an unprecedented legal development: The potential indictment of a former president and current presidential candidate.

Donald Trump's many legal problems – and calls for protests by his followers – have generated new fears of political violence and anxiety about the unknowable impact all this will have on the already-tense 2024 presidential election

I’ll reframe this is a more accurate way, Are Presidents above the law? This new age was spurred into existence when home grown dummies elected a corrupt, mentally ill, anti-democratic, would be dictator as President and don’t bother to hold him responsible for his crimes, don’t want to because in the ensuing mayhem and destruction, they think they will be better off. The man is actually advocating violence (not the first time). And btw, screw democracy too. If this feeling spreads, we are In deep shirt.

This goes beyond one treasonous Peice of work and out to all his minions. This is on you or should we be sympathetic to the idea of they can’t help being selfish suckers to the Nation’s detriment? Donald Trump is the single largest individual threat to our democracy and it‘s all going to boil down to will the majority of the GOP return to his embrace and start slinging his excrement to support him?

There are 2 companies vying for fusion reactors for electricity generation.
    TAE
    Helios

OpenAI/Microsoft have a power purchase agreement with Helios. Who, supposedly will be the first to have its reactor up and running.(2028)

Now TAE will have theirs by 2030. But no power purchase agreements yet. Further guess who owns TAE?

    Trump MEDIA and Technology Group.

Just coincidental at this point. But will be interesting to see how OpenAI/Helios relationship evolves.

Btw - I cannot stand the term “warfighters”. What in the world is wrong with “soldiers” or just the military? It reminds me of adults using words like “evil-doers”. I know it’s petty, but why use it?

Its to sound more "intimidating". Thats all.

And yeah its dumb when they aren't actively fighting wars.

So, if the DOD agreed to the same restrictions with OpenAI, then why the big hissy fit with Anthropic? This doesn’t make any sense.

It is a rather interesting deal.

Fusion deal: Why Trump Media is merging with TAE Technologies

Because it’s an interesting deal. Read the article. It’s rather obvious.
You have an allergy to being direct. I want to know why you think it’s interesting and this is a discussion board. If you aren’t willing to discuss an article, maybe you should just skip posting it?

Finding a merger interesting is direct enough. Plus, it seems obvious why this looks interesting.

A bit surprised that a Trump business would hook up with something as advanced as a fusion technology group. That makes it a bit interesting.

Why surprised? I have to believe you understand Trump, yes?

“The thing I find interesting is how interesting it is”
