I'm all for making a buck when you can, but it's complete bull**** if Intuit ever succeeds in manipulating the IRS into becoming the only option for tax preparation. I have wondered why the IRS has not set something up already since they already have all the information needed to provide pre-filled tax forms. I'm sure it would increase the department's efficiency tremendously as well.
