Notwithstanding your obvious struggles with basic grammar concepts, the irony of your statement about facts is lost on you. Do you know what a fact is? It is different from a feeling in that it is known to be or proven to be true. What facts can you point to that show beyond a doubt that Californians destroyed their homes and moved to Idaho? It is an absurd statement and has nothing to do with facts.

What you are calling "facts" is called anecdotal evidence. It's a story of something that you may have observed or simply made up. Is it okay with you if I went around saying that all police officers are racists because one cop called me the "N" word when I was 15?

I'm here to have merit-based discussions based on facts and opinion supported by facts. In this case, the set is the United States. The individual members are the 50 states that make up the country. I was clearly referring to every state, i.e., the 50 individual member of the set. I shouldn't have to explain this to a child, much less a grown-arse adult.
