Agree completely. Republicans since Saint Ronnie the Dim-Witted have been focused on tax cuts as though they are the answer to the cure for the common cold. They seemed, on occasion, to have some morals and to occasionally work with Dems. The rise of hate radio and Newt Gingrich who should never be asked for his opinion on anything paved the way for the mess we have. When demographic change started to happen all they could do was resort to fear-mongering.
