It looks like the first shoe has dropped with the Durham investigation with the Clinesmith plea deal. Clinesmith wasn't a low level FBI employee involved in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

He worked with Strzok to arrange sending an FBI agent into Trump-Flynn briefing, was on the Mueller team, he took part in the Papadopoulos interviews, and he participated in the FISA process.

I wonder who else knew about the lies?

🚨🚨🚨Brennan briefed Obama on Hillary's approval of a proposal to attack Trump in the 2016 election by tying him to Putin according to Brennan's handwritten notes. Intelligence officials forwarded an investigative referral to Comey and Strzok about Clinton's approval of a plan to link Trump to Russian hackers hampering US election to distract from Hillary’s email scandal.

The Clinton campaign did try to pin the DNC hacking on Trump by hiring Fusion GPS who made that exact allegation. That happened regardless of whether the Russians actually thought it happened or not.

If you didn’t know that this was Russian disinformation *rejected by the bipartisan Senate intel committee* when you posted it, you know it now:

Why did Brennan personally brief Obama on it? Why did the Intelligence Community refer an investigation about it to the FBI?

I’m not doing this tonight. It’s Russian disinformation, patently false, you know it, and you’re re-upping and spreading it because you think it helps you. I’m only jumping in to make sure others know it.

Because it was Brennan's responsibility to brief President Obama on the counterintelligence that was being pushed by Russians. Why is that so hard to understand?

No one is denying that the Russian counterintelligence effort and disinformation existed. What everyone is denying, including the bipartisan members of the Senate intelligence community, is that there is any truth to this disinformation the Russians were peddling.

So again I ask you, do you take the word of Russian intelligence operatives over US intelligence operatives?

How did that Russian disinformation in the Steele dossier end up in the Intelligence briefing to Trump?

It's such a weird coincidence that Hillary ended up doing exactly what the Russians claimed.

No it's not. Anyone would have pointed out Trump's questionable connections with Russians, except those who were participating in it. Anyone could have predicted it. The Russians knowing that Clinton knew about Trump's questionable Russian ties knew that she was going to raise the issue. It's not rocket science or mystical alchemy.

Why are you helping to spread what everyone else, including all of the members of the Senate intelligence committee, knows is Russian counterintelligence propaganda and disinformation?

Is being "right" in an internet discussion so important to you that you are willing to help spread Russian propaganda and disinformation?

Why did the Intelligence Officials, which we have been told that we must believe everything they say, refer an investigation to the FBI about Hillary's plan to link Trump to the Russian hacking to distract from her email scandal?

Because it was all part of Trumps questionable ties to Russians and the Russian's counter-intelligence efforts.

Do you understand what counter-intelligence is?

Do you understand that the intelligence community is obligated to report on counter-intelligence from our adversaries, like Russia?

I've answered all of your questions. I would appreciate you answering mine in a show of good faith that you are interested in a genuine discussion and not just here to parrot Russian propaganda in an effort to "win" a internet discussion.

It is literally Russian disinformation and you are spreading it like it’s truth despite lacking any evidence whatsoever, yet you rejected intelligence conclusions of the bipartisan Senate intel committee about Trump-Russia as “lacking evidence” when numerous pages of *actual evidence* are laid out for you.

You appear to reject the Senate intel’s conclusion that *this* was false without even so much as a guess at what they might have known that you didn’t. No analysis whatsoever about what legitimate reasons Hillary might have had to tie Trump to the DNC hack when the disinformation was apparently collected the same week Trump called on Russia to hack the DNC publicly (and considering what his campaign manager, and son, and friend Roger Stone, etc. were up to at that very moment). Just, no. You’re spreading straight up propaganda.

It's funny how you ignored the fact that the Intelligence officials sent an investigation referral to the FBI on Hillary's alleged plan to link Trump to the Russian hacking to distract from her email scandal. What's your opinion on that?

My opinion is that someone in the IC appears to have thought it was worth investigating, but that no one else in that administration or the subsequent one, or in the bipartisan senate intel committee, thought much of it, that the fact of the referral was probably leaked by Ratcliffe because he’s a bad faith lackey of a president who badly needs talking points as Election Day looms, and that most Rs spreading this probably know all of that — as well as the fact that it’s Russian propaganda — to be true.

How did the supposed Russian disinformation in the Steele Dossier that Comey insisted on being included in the Intelligence Assessment work out? The left have defended the Steele Dossier to this day, but they have never acknowledged it was all BS. The only true parts of the Dossier were things that anyone could have found with Google.

This isn’t at all responsive to what I said.

this thread is starting to look like Whack-a-Mole

We've been told that Durham is coming! for a long while now. When does he get here? And what does the endgame look like? Arrests? Charges? Prison?

I've gotten lost amidst all of these threads. I read a couple of days ago, nothing was actually going to be filed or pressed. How does that reconcile with a house of cards that's been supposed to fall for weeks now?

So, the Intelligence Community briefed President Obama on allegations that Hillary Clinton had plans to link Trump to the Russian hacking, even though they stated that they had not been able to verify those allegations. So, the intelligence community thought that the mere allegation that something like a presidential candidate was going to lie about another presidential candidate was worthy of briefing the president.

BUT

The intelligence community did not brief the president on allegations that Russia was paying bounties to Taliban fighters to kill US soldiers because they had not been able to verify those allegations.
