Butker recently delivered the commencement address at Benedictine College, a liberal arts institution in Atchison, Kansas. This is the same college that once forced out gay basketball player Jallen Messersmith to remove a rainbow flag from his dorm room window
(I dug a bit more - more time than I should have spent on this person lol- and found a video of his speech - which I won't watch lol)

He also took a large chunk of his speech to speak directly to the women in the audience. He said that while many of them likely are excited to start a career and get promotions, they should instead consider the only vocation that will make them most happy: homemaker.

A Catholic college enrolling women, charging them $130,000 and putting them through four years of academic rigor for their degree only to bring in a man who kicks footballs for a living to address them directly and tell them they’ve been lied to - and should be in the home is peak cruelty. Truly twisted.
I feel so sorry for them - it’s forked up. The focus has been on him but I think it’s better placed on the school. What a horrible thing to do.

I don't know. I can't imagine they knew these remarks were coming and still allowed him the podium.
I can. A good trad wife is well educated, she just never does anything with it outside the home.

They haven’t disavowed the comments - or apologized to their graduates. I think it’s reasonable to expect that content of the speech was discussed, even if a draft wasn't reviewed. But, yes, that doesn’t mean they knew everything he was going to say . . . then again, they got a 28 year old NFL kicker to give the commencement address. He's not a known public speaker, I think they probably had a pretty darn good idea of what he was going to say. That's why they invited him.

So a woman employed by the city evidently posted online that Butker lives in Lee’s Summit, which has around 100,000 people. I don’t know how she knew that, but someone said it was public knowledge that he lived in that area. MAGA men have now been threatening and harassing any female they can find who works for the city of Kansas City, posting pictures and so forth. The mayor has posted this:
